2006 xB. Stock head unit. I have the Skar TX65 in the doors and the TX525 in the back. I was going to go with the TX4 2-ways in the dash but then saw your video. What would the major sound differences be between the TX4 and the VX4-ST? Thanks!
Just more tweets. I always like to keep my speakers kinda separate if that makes sense. So my tweeter would only have voice. My subs would only have bass (no words) and door would be only hi’s not bass.
Not sure why you put those ontop of the grills. Much cleaner and professional install when installed under the factory grills. Also you never use a metal screw driver to pry on the plastic dash.
Doing all skar in my 09 tahoe right now got the 12inch evl bass package ordered the ofc 1/0 amp kit the Spx-65c for the front the tx65’s for the back doors and the tx35 for the rear pillars doing the whole install this weekend if the RP-150.4AB shows up in time I’m hoping it’ll all sound good together
Great stuff! Those tweeters definitely need to be on show and not under cover! I also cut the holes in my front tweeter covers... But I put cup holders there... As a bB owner it's interesting to see just how different the rear seat and load area really is in the xB.
Hey bro how do you like that brand of speakers? I have a second gen xB and need to upgrade the factory speakers. I don’t know much about audio. Any chance you could show how you hooked up your amp/sub? I’ve learned a lot watching your videos! Guess it’s time to subscribe lol
I love the subs. I the type I like being the under dog. People think 8s can’t hit. But I’ve shut people down that’s had 2 12s and 2 15s. And what about hooking up the sub and amp you need help with?
yo bro. what if you just had aftermarket receiver /no sub. how do you feel about running midrange speakers at the doors? i think the stock ones were midrange. would that make sense if the tweeters are in the dash. is that just a swap or would you need to power them? I installed coaxial and it feels like i lost a ton of low/mid bass.
It’s about personal preference I don’t like bass in my door speakers. I remove as much bass as I can out the door speakers. I feel bass should only/mainly come from subs. Plus bass in door speakers will distort them.
If you use an amplifier on your mids and highs, and you tune your amp CORRECTLY there won’t be any distortion. So many people don’t take advantage of the low and high pass filters on amps. It’s a night and day difference when you use an amplifier on your doors. If you’re going to amplify low frequency (subwoofer) then you might as well amplify your higher frequencies to keep up with the lows. 🤷♂️
Good shit bro I'm about to send just one on 400 watts center dash
How did that turn out? I have a 2016 is300 and i just got the same super tweeter so i wanna install it with the stock amp
Loved them. Definitely was worth it.

Aye the front and rear speakers the same?
I did your custom tweeter install thank you for your video 🙏🏽 next step front speakers and one day the rear 🤣
I appreciate the support
Or what’s it called, because I want to buy one like that one you got
Dremel tool, I got that one from harbor freight. This it was like $5 maybe $10. Wasn’t much tho and come with a bunch of attachments.
Thats a capacitor, not a resistor.
I really wanted to hear how they sound
Lol. Sorry the camera just make it sound distorted
All good!
Bravo 👏 @ 06:37.

He explained why in the video very clearly.

Those factory tweeters look scary.
How you powering those monster tweeters dude?
I don't think you can without amp right? Lol
For the rear I just used those 6x9 boxes way better then any 6.5
Yea I usually do that tbh
So, all speakers in the back are 6.5? Asking because I have a Scion xB and I want to install my stuff on my own. Just need right sizes
@@crystalgarza409 I think there 5.5

Oo wow I thought it was all the same.
Did you do a sound test?
What do you mean?
@@CartxxnTACTICAL after the install. Did you put out a video testing all the speakers?
No. The video just makes everything sound distorted
Nice music it booming in my truck what song is that
Decaf - white clouds. It has to be played with a system tho. Tryna play it on a phone or something it won’t have bass
Where did you buy your little saw cutter?
Nice bro how you connected to of existing speakers 🔊 ? Or where. Can explain 🤔 thanks
Bro once you got all those panels off, u should have sound deaden the crap out of the whole back end of that car.
True. 😅

Damn those stock tweeters suck
those tweeters are probably all you hear up front lol
I bought the same tweeters. With the mod to the dash piece did it rattle?
Is there a way I can actually message you bro,I have some super tweeters I'm trying to install myself and need your advice.
When it gets dusty they are likely to get damages
Make more videos!
I have 4 videos on RUclips that are set to private that are unreleased but videos just don’t be getting views that I want 😩
@@CartxxnTACTICAL put em out homie', I got a first gen XB, there's no videos on these on how to mod, just what's already done
That is my exact tweeter/mid build nice video
How much was all the skar audio equipment combined?
