We traveled a lot in shared car in the mountains but one day I wondered what it would feel like to drive my own car there. So we decided to go on an offbeat trek in North Sikkim - Lashar Valley Trek.
I asked some of my friends and they immediately said yes and went out for an unbelievable adventure in north Sikkim.

Yes. You have to go on trek trek by yourself, some organisations do till Lasar Valley but no one will take you up to Shaka Tso lake.
You can hire a guide, he will charge you around 5k for 3 days. We carried everything on owr own like tent,food etc. If you rent it out from guide and take potter that will cost you a lot. Hope this helps 🙂
It's upto guest to make upto shaka tso or not ..for that you have to stay more days ..it's a long route from lasher valley...🫸🫷
