I am definitely one of Dr. Monroe’s mentees. Although I met him once in Ghana at ICGC in the year 2000 or so when I was 20 years with no first degree, I had already started reading his book series on purpose, potential, and later on change, the burden of freedom, etc. Now that I’m awakened more to my leadership potential and vision, it has become very important for me to learn all I can from his speeches and writings especially on government and becoming a change agent. In 2014, I had a masters degree from New York University, NY and looking forward to more. Dr. Monroe’s leadership principles has helped to shape the influencer that I am today. To see his children stand strong in life’s their purpose is encouraging. Dr. Myles and Mrs. Ruth Monroe are great gifts to the Kingdom of God. We salute them. Great to see the Legacy continue on!! I'm a business owner builder out of Chicago for 26 years now and have mentored many people, some has started their own construction business... I met Dr. Miles Monroe in Chicago years ago at a church, the message was so great I had to meet him. I shook his hand and introduce myself. ...I told him I'm going to build a convention center..., he told me "I'll be there!" I kept that in my heart and look forward to having something of his in the new building or on site and I pray his legacy will continue to impact people as it did mine.
