Beautiful!! The previous shadows felt like powder, except for the glow ones (pearl, gold, silver, and there was another I can't remember the name of right now). Those 4 were very much the baked gelee formula you describe the new, reformulated shadows to be, and I wonder if the 'new' glow shadows are really the old ones which actually came out last in the line (as far as my experience in London, UK goes - US might have got different products at different times?). They're not super sexy blingy in-your-face shadows but they are in my experience the best, most reliable, longest wearing shadows, especially the glow formula. STUNNING.

That glow shade is a dream- I would be interested in comparing these with some other highend shadows.
Loving that you are wearing Sisley zebra stripe!! I have the old formula from several years ago, just dug them out and the satin shade was buttery but the matte very powdery...the new ones you demonstrated look very different and much improved

YES!!! I'm super happy to see more swatches :) I got only 32 without seeing it and I love it but I was dying to see more swatches because for now they are only available online. I'm very attracted to the khaki color. I wish I could see the taupe. But I'm actually attracted to the silky steel as well. xoxo

Your really looking good in the blue and gray tones on your eyes. I have used the old Sisley formula eye shadow and it is more of a powder formula. Some were slightly satin but most were just the basic formula so they have certainly changed up the textures for sure with the metallic and glow.

It’s rare to see that and I always find it frustrating when other RUclips channels only list down below what makeup they used beside the products they are featuring but not the specific tools for application! I just ordered matte taupe a couple weeks ago and it is a lovely basic color I used for a transition shade.

I've never tried anything from this brand but I've seen that silver ahade twice now and I'm over here like...oh babeh haha.
Also demi matte is the best for eyeshadow. Smooth and doesn't exaggerate texture on my old lady eyelids but not powdery and dry looking.

These shadows look beautiful. I had one glow from the old formula and one satin, these look 'creamier' than the shadows I have. I am going to get some of the lighter shades that can be used on the brow-bone since I always seem to need those colors to go with palettes I own. The Silky French Blue, and the Sparkling Purple also look beautiful. Thank you for your review, swatches and demo! They look so pretty on you; I can't wait to try them! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘

Not Your Mother's Mom agree... the price for 1 shadow is staggeringly unaffordable. Even if I wanted to spend the money - I wouldn’t be ok with just getting 1 shadow..
No. Just way too much. Since having one seems a little pointless, these basically constitute a $108 DUO, or a $216 QUAD. Sorry, not ever. But great review & beautiful look from Michele ☺️
yeah. They're pricey!! I held my breath when I bought one of the original shadow formulation, and it turned out to be on me the single best performing shadow. It was 3 Dune, and a perfect no makeup look, one shadow work look, or transition shade. The most subtle and elegant glimmer. But I agree, they are not cheap!!!
I was amused because so many people complained about Pat McGrath’s $65 quad. 😁

They seem to be easily wearable and lovely shades. I like shimmery sheen shade with little bit glitter. Which one you recommend these vs Chantecaille luminescent eye?shades?
I’m really impressed by the way you blended khaki into that teal for a wash of color. So flattering! Now I have to try that look with products I have. I would be curious to know how you’d compare these singles to the Chantecaille that were released a couple of months ago. What do you think? And can any of these be removed from their cases to creat a palette without damaging them? 💚

Looking for shadow that has the faintest hint of “sheen” . Is the demi matte subtle? My mature slightly crepey eyelids look horrible with all the shimmers on the market , no matter how subtle they claim
Bruin Mom I am over 50 and have the same issue you do 😕 I find the Colourpop super shock shadows can be applied super sheer when applied lightly with your finger then blended with a brush. They have some light colors that are beautiful for a sheer wash of color 😉 Ritz is a great color.

OK So I have more than I would like to admit! Wait have i said that before?🤪 🤔 Haha I swatched the new ones here but I have to wait for a discount from a friend to bring them home. I have some old ones and yes I feel like they are more like a typical shadow - 11 total Shadows plus 4 Glow shadows look (similar to new ones) Mine include 1 “Metallic” Black Diamond (Sparkles) Not near as “sparkling” as new Metallic, maybe 5 mattes 5 between satin&matte, and they are good shadows but I would not have paid full price for them, but the older glow I love the Gold and Amber. I have and use all the time their “Sparkling Eyeliners” and their Phyto-Eye Twists. And my favorite color eye twist is #3 Khaki and it is the exact color as Metallic Khaki that you have and I wear that once a week, and I have soooooooooo much nothing gets rotated as much as that color, because I love the underlying Gold. And I believe that the new Metallic purple shadow is most similar to their Mystic Purple Eye liner. I actually think their Brown Sparkling liner is beautiful. Hopefully when I get the others I can help more??? It may speak more to what I am immediately ordering and its the 25 Metallic Khaki, 34 Sparkling Purple, & 31 Metallic pink maybe I have to look at silky coral but it may be similar to the old #20 but idk what it’s called. To be continued.....

You are correct that the original Sisley eyeshadow formula is more traditional and powdery (talc-based I presume). They are smooth, easy to blend and non-creasing but the darker colours can be patchy. It was definitely time for an overhaul of the formula, given especially the high price of Sisley shadows.

Hey guys!! This is going to sound crazy, but you know those brushes that come in the ABH 14 pan palettes? Well, the packer side is AMAZING at picking up those baked gelee formulas!!!! I personally do use natural, undyed goat hair Sonia G Worker brushes or Wayne Goss, but if you dont have those kind of brushes and if you do happen to have those ABH brushes............😊😊

May I say you could NOT have picked a better blouse for this video! As for the eyeshadows: I had (and got rid of) the older version because they were very dry, cakey and flat. How they applied is why I've never purchased their shadow sets; if it's the same formula, I don't want it. I have the Cream on order as I'm hoping it's actually a light cream and not a soft yellow like the old Cream (truly a light yellow). I copied down the nude shades when you held up the card; so difficult to order based on online department store swatches, lol. Great video!! :)

Wonder what these shadows would look like applied with the finger? I haven't had good luck with the Sisley's gelee formula. I got the $95 blur expert and $170 anti aging foundation. Huge disappointment for me. I love the ingredient deck and appreciate it so much because I'm a licensed Cosmetologist but the product needs to look as good as the ingredients in them. Sadly I don't think Sisley has perfected this combination. Wish they would come out with a good cream shadow.
Have you tried using the Blur Expert before foundation? That's how it's worked for me. I use a kabuki brush and buff it in, and then apply liquid foundation over it. I thought it was crazy, but makes my skin look SO smooth and soft.
yes, I use powder to even out my skin before foundation alot. I actually bought the blur expert for that reason. The formula was just not very forgiving at all and the color was really flat...but that's just me. I have dry skin so finding my favorites isn't always easy. I may still try one of these shadows though. Your video's are really great☆☆☆☆☆I get lots of good ideas♡

People needs to realize it’s not pigmentation it’s the tool!!! I find Goat hair works the best for baked gelee.
