For me, that was how she first admitted that her heart truly belonged to him. She didn't need words at that point, just that simple gesture. Simple but HUGE! My reaction was both "Finally" and "Thank GOD!"

It's June 2022 and I am rebinging on Castle. Absolutely the best show on TV for years!! Well written until season 8 when the writers mucked things up. The relationship between Castle and Beckett is unmatched in TV history! So many great moments. I am glued to the TV watching Castle.

There is also Chuck. Great chemistry and not so sexual tension like Castle.

This is what I miss... That banter, the antics, all of it. This what Castle used to be like, and how it always should have been like. But then the writers ruined the experience by throwing in weird plot changes, which make absolutely no sense. And now, with Stana and Tamala leaving.... It saddens me so much, since Castle played a significant role in my life, it made me smile when I had no reason to. I only wish that the show would have gotten a proper sendoff, one it deserves. They should have ended the show after the sixth season, not milk it dry. Seriously, ABC. It would have been enough :(
+Mareike H. That is so true. Viewers who claim to want to see more of what has passed for CASTLE recently need to re-view the 1st two seasons. The interplay between Stana and Nathan was so on the mark it was hard to believe it was acting. For the sake of resolution I hope that one of the cast members steps forward with the truth of how it all came undone. So very sad.

Nathan Fillion was a big jerk and couldn't stand Stana Katic being a star and getting the spotlight, that's apparently what happened. That's why they didn't do any PR together after season 2. Not gonna watch any of his stuff.
That stare down at 2:03 was so hott! How on earth are they able to keep themselves away from one another? Their chemistry is just...ahh

I watch this 3 years after i really was full on into castle and 3 years after i even last have seen an episode but weirdly i can‘t stop myself from fangirling around, reciting the quotes with caskett and „feeling“ the show as if i was 14 y/o again. that’s just how good castle is!! it will always be in my top 5 favorite tv shows. 🥰🥰

I am discovering this show for the first time. I am currently binging every episode from the start. I am in S2 so far. I love it. The whodunit mysteries are good but what really makes the show great IMO is the chemistry between Castle and Beckett. The banter is great. They look so good together and they just have that great love/hate, flirtatious, will they/won't they thing going on. The supporting cast are fun too.

Watched since day one of it ever coming out. I was young but me and my mom were there, at our tv watching the newest episodes every time a new one aired. This show will have have a special magic for me. And not to flex but I’ve watched castle so many times over the years, I start and episode and remember who the killer is right away. The memory never fades.
This is the best damn show that i ever seen in my life and i hope it come back to tv show i can see everyday of the week and i love it so much that castle and beckett are the best couple.

If there's one scene that makes the show go round and the relationship spark, it's the end of season 4, where they make out. Kate coming to Castle to apologize for what Castle was meaning. FInally giving Castle the kiss that means a lot to both of them, finally accepting her love for Castle and vice versa. There was no sexual intention, pure love.

Beide haben sich nie darüber geäußert. Bestimmt aber auch aus einen bestimmten Grund.
Denn so wie sie sich bis zum Schluß in die Augen schauen, deshalb glaube ich es nicht. Denn wenn es wirklich so gewesen wäre, könnten es beide nicht so gut spielen, auch wenn es ihr Job ist.

Well if you look at a photo of his girlfriend a few years after Castle she looks similar to Stana!!
They dated seasons 2-4, broke up mid season 5 and theu began to hate eachother. You can see it in late season 5 shows as the writers try to keep them separated in scenes. The rift grows in seasons 6 and 7 as they share less and less scenes.
I bought the first five seasons on DVD but it was only after watching a couple of videos here on RUclips that I started watching the DVDs. I've now reached s4e9.
