IBSF World Cup Lillehammer - Team Event Skeleton

As the host of two consecutive events, Lillehammer (NOR) will be closing the IBSF World Cup’s pre-Olympic season. The first weekend of racing at the track will begin on Friday with the first of several season highlights: The World Cup finals in the skeleton will also count as the 2025 European Championships for athletes from Europe. Saturday and Sunday will see athletes battling it out for World Cup points and European Championship medals in Lillehammer’s races for the women’s monobob, 2-man bobsleigh, 2-woman bobsleigh and 4-man bobsleigh. And the schedule also includes the fourth skeleton mixed race of the season on Saturday afternoon. Lillehammer is set to host the IBSF World Championships in 2027.

Mit zwei Events in Folge beschließt Lillehammer (NOR) den vor-olympischen Winter im IBSF Weltcup. Das erste Renn-Wochenende auf der Olympiabahn von 1994 startet am Freitag gleich mit einem Saison-Highlight: Das Skeleton-Weltcupfinale zählt für die Athletinnen und Athleten aus Europa zugleich als Europameisterschaft 2025. Um Weltcup-Punkte und EM-Medaillen geht es auch am Samstag und Sonntag in Lillehammer bei den Rennen im Frauen-Monobob, Männer-Zweierbob, Frauen-Zweierbob und Viererbob. Ebenfalls auf dem Programm: das vierte Saisonrennen im Skeleton-Mixed am Samstagnachmittag. 2027 wird Lillehammer Gastgeber der IBSF Weltmeisterschaften sein.
