great job,sometimes you need to open the box cutter(stanley knife(uk)) as the new blades are stored in the handle.think its a safety feature.either a philips screw driver to open or just both halfs unclip.
Awww this looks so fun for the piggies! Pepper was so cute napping up there. I’ve been thinking about adding a loft to my cage, and this seems like a great way to do it! I tried to bend the C&C grids once too, and they snapped. I’m not sure how other people get them to bend so perfectly. 😂

Mine aren’t fully litterbox trained! They happen to poo and pee mostly in their litterboxs Bc that’s where they eat. But I’ve heard people have litter box trained their piggies by repeatedly spot cleaning the cage and dumping the poos in the litter box
Ohhh yeah that might get kind of hard to make a lid for it then! My roommates have cats but they’re not allowed in my room ever so luckily I don’t have to worry about a lid
The cage was just cleaned so there’s not much poo in it! The bowls have pellets in them not poos. I vacuum daily and most of their poo ends up in the litterbox area!
I did not know that you have a cat!? Could you make a video about cats living together with bunnies or guinea pigs? We also want a car and be have bunnies and piggies already.
It was my roomates cat! I don't live with her anymore so I no longer live with cats. For guinea pigs, I would keep them in a room where the cat cannot access. Keep the door closed when you're not in the rooms (or even at all times). For rabbits, some people have their rabbits and cats get along. Personally, I don't think I'd risk it but some get along well under supervision. Maybe make sure your rabbits home base is away from the cat and if you want to introduce them make sure the cats nails are clipped short and to always be there when they interact. Hope this helps!
I'm not sure why you have to fast forward the part where you're making the loft and for some people you really need to slow down so we can see what you're doing as we're trying to build it ourselves
In real time the video is like 30min long. No one is going to watch me move in real time for 30min. If you’re referring to where I was attaching the grids to the cage all I was doing was using zip ties. If you want it slower you can slow down the speed of the video on RUclips settings
those bath mats with all the nubs are my boys FAVORITE!

Mine bended too. It’s due to the brand we bought from. I taped mine with electrical tape to protect the guineas from cutting themselves

I’m kind of late also new here but If you are in the u.s. you can get half grids from the guinea pig cage store!
As well as support bars so the loft will be more sturdy

Usually they don’t because they just run up and down it, they don’t stay there long enough to pee but the bath mat on it absorbent!

You could use the grids to make a roof and binder clips to latch it!
