The two videos have been superb, great to see the Japanese shops and lots of people in them. Also nice to see you opening some English packs too. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your next video.
That was a cool pull the dragonair full art. All that rain and no umbrella haha. Atleast it dont look like you got soaked. The rain is nice the smell is fresh...
@@annajapananime your brave. I can see not taking one though, if the shops are not to far away from eachother. What is your favorite pokemon card you pulled so far?
@0:05 hahahaha. I just bought that box yesterday. The Dark Order. people forgot about that stuff. now tell me how much they were selling it for so I can know how much I got ripped off.XD I also noticed you referred to Sun and Moon as vintage. is that considered vintage there because when I think of vintage, I thinking Base Set to Skyridge or FireRed LeafGreen. and it sucks that some stores you cant record. maybe someday when i save enough money to travel and have time off i can go on a world tour of games stores.
That's right. For security reasons, I cannot take any photos & videos inside the store. Perhaps that wave will spread to more stores🧐Staffs are very nervous about theft.
i liked the stores in ikebukoro much more than Akihabra, much better selection and prices. Card Secret and Big Magic very good shops. Also pulled a pikachu ex from a surging sparks pack purchased from Big Magic.
Another wonderful video! Glad to see the rest of the stores. Is that common pricing on the 151 packs? From what I'm seeing the vintage singles, raw or graded are quite good but the price of a booster pack in my area of Canada for 151 is between about 5000 to 7500 yen ( I converted it for you) or about $5 to $7.50. The Mario Pikachu box usually sells for about 15 to 17 thousand here. There was just a set of one of each, the Mario and Luigi that sold for $32,000! So really the price on the one in your video was pretty good! Thank you for sharing and your hair looked beautiful even when wet!
Amazing video. This may be a silly question: what is the etiquette for purchasing cards? I see lots of cards on display, but very few staff. Are you supposed to go to the front counter and then ask something to walk with you while you point out all the cards you wish to buy, or is there another process?
Yes, right:) If you check many cards, you can go to a front counter and tell a clerk that you would like to check as many cards as possible, they will take care of it for you.
As for single cards, Ikebukuro was generally cheaper than Akihabara. And booster boxes are about the same price. "Toreka zamurai " had some boxes on sale at special prices. I like Toreka-zamurai (Trading Card Samurai) so far!
I agree. All stores in Tokyo are basically at the same level. Sometimes there are special deals (yellow stickers), so if you can find them, you can get a good deal😀
Nice shopping tour! ❤ I noticed that in many store has only PSA as a grade card. I wonder if another grading company aint be accepted in japan? Like Backett or CGC.
I remember when Japanese cards were considered obscure and no one wanted them. I have always been a Japanese collector and i used to be able to get any card i wanted for very affordable prices. Nowadays Japanese cards and sealed products are extremely expensive. It takes me a long time to save up for the cards i collect now. 😢😢😢
I miss the days when Japanese cards were unknown...I'm very happy to have made many friends around the world through Pokemon☺️ But it's a tough time to be a collector😅
enjoyed ur video a lot! kinda wondering where did u buy the alter genesis booster box? i’m visiting japan next month and im planning to buy some booster boxes for my collection. thank you
Card Rush is one of the most reliable and large companies in Japan, so I believe that a third-party appraisal agency checks whether the box is a resealed box or not before it is sold. There are some stores in Akihabara that are run by individuals, so I think some of them sell resealed boxes without checking.
Great Videos! Im visiting Tokyo in May during the Sumo tournament. I would like to take this opportunity to buy some cards that are difficult to obtain in Germany. Especially Pikachu and Evolie promo cards. Which area would you recommend? I would also fly if necessary. Best regards from Germany :-)
Oh that's nice! I've watched Sumo once, Sumo wrestlers were so cool! Also they're so friendly, you can take pics with them:) I just uploaded new video in Sapporo, I hope you can enjoy shopping in Sapporo:)
Wonder if there is good website to check pokemon card price in JP? Normally people would say ebay but given ebay take 15% from each deal I guess there might be a better one?
Continue to show love, care, support, and growth to your channel. I hope you get a lot of likes and subscribers. I'm still showing support here for you my friend 😊
Another interesting video thanks Anna!🙂
Wow thank you so much:) Really appreciate it( ^ω^ )!

@annajapanesepokemoncard do you have boyfriend

I was completely the only person who didn't have an umbrella in Akihabara😅 But to be honest I don't really like carrying umbrellas😂

Box says ¥21,800 which converts to $147.50 USD.

Excellent video, thank you. Japanese prices seem all around similar levels across sellers/traders (for sealed booster boxes)

Thanks for the video, it was great seeing your adventures! Where did you get the Alter Genesis Booster Box from?
Thanks! I bought at Toreka-samurai @Ikebukuro! (I introduced this store in my previous video😅)
Nice shopping tour! ❤ I noticed that in many store has only PSA as a grade card. I wonder if another grading company aint be accepted in japan? Like Backett or CGC.
Oh you're right. I never seen Backett or CGC graded cards in Japan...🧐
Because PSA is the only way to go

I got a question which store do you think is the chepeast one for booster boxes?
Hummm... it depends on the booster box, but I think Amenity Dream is the one of the cheapest store!
enjoyed ur video a lot! kinda wondering where did u buy the alter genesis booster box? i’m visiting japan next month and im planning to buy some booster boxes for my collection. thank you
Oh I bought at NinNin 2nd store!
Good luck with lizardon in anniversary pack 🎉
Thank you:)
Great video - can I ask where is the cheapest card store for Japanese booster boxes? I saw card secrets prices 😭
Card Secrets has many items, but I felt that the prices were a little high. I bought the box at "Trading Card Samurai"🇯🇵
Whoa
😆!!
Where did you buy the tag team box? I feel some products are maybe resealed from card rush or other stores? Is that true?
Card Rush is one of the most reliable and large companies in Japan, so I believe that a third-party appraisal agency checks whether the box is a resealed box or not before it is sold.

I usually check by "Sunidan" japan!
Do any shops trade? Thank you for posting such great videos!
Thank you for your comment:) I've never heard any shops trading, but it possible to ask them!
Are pokemon cards cheaper in Japan than in Europe ????
I'm not familiar with EU market, but when it comes to buying Japanese Pokemon cards, Japan is much cheaper than any other areas.
