Just go with a DX7 or BM2. DX7 handles better and has slightly more acceleration while the BM2 is better in all around speed and both are fairly short wheelbase with good grip for a RWD car. Although you may have to spend more for upgrades to meet the secondary rating requirements, EV6 is AWD and would be better for racing. There are a bunch of tuning tutorials on RUclips already for grip and they are fairly universal.
