Thank you for breaking down all the thought processes, especially about finding a simpler function for carrying the convergence test [5:15]. Also great job about the way you use the colors ! That really helps to drive the attention toward the main aspects of each situation. I love your work !
Ohhhhh, thanks sooo much!!! I had such a hard time trying to get this concept. You explained it so cool and easy to understand. Here you have your Like, good man.
Nice video! You explain this stuff extremely well. At 6:32, we can use partial fraction, and arrive at -ln|x+1| + 1/2ln|x^2 - x + 1| - 1/sqrt(3)*arctan(2x/sqrt(3)) + C.
I know I am a bit late but I still wanna ask you by the comparison test we deduced that the following fraction will be less than 1/x² but we hadn't checked if the fraction was bigger than 1/x .. So, to my estimation we should've checked if the fraction was bigger than 1/x.. I might be wrong but please clarify it me.. By the way awesome videos now I am learning the calculus from your videos without anyone's aid..
nah, you must be keeping the biggest power of x in place, it is always better to go logically towards the smaller/bigger function, but DCT (the test described in the video) is actually a little hard because it needs good algebraic knowledge and concentration to find the other function compared to LCT (limit comparison test) where you take any function and simply calculate the limit of original function over your function and prove that they are connected by getting g a positive value
College calculus midterm tomorrow and I’m cramming this sections, it made no sense until now. Thanks a lot!
edit: I got an 82%
Awesome!! I am hoping for at least an 80% on my exam tonight :)
@@soappacket2342 i already know you got above an 80 :D
cracked
Im fine with 51% each percent more, one beer more :D
we are living the same lives , in different bodies
Had you last semester for calc one, amazing teacher thank you!

This was, seriously, an excellent explanation!
Now it's clear to me. This topic was somehow so ambiguous to me. Thanks man .
This hasn't clicked for the past week and a half, thank you for the help!
I’m crying rn
It’s Alr bro I’m cooked aswell my exam is in 6hrs im watching this at 3:30am
@@alihashimraza1677How did it go?
@@Jlang-es9lc as predicted I got cooked
I'm also
Tomorrow at 12 💀 calc 2, 3 in the same exam. I’m deep fried, sautéed, flambeed, downright burnt.
thank you so much, wild how this 8 min video is better than any of my calculus lectures
My first time here and I swear you are a life saver 🥺 where have you been all my life 😩
I have a midterm in an hour and ah this thing is not easy to keep in mind
Sir u are great , I can't believe someone can teach this good for free , I really love u really really really
Glad I stumbled onto this, it makes this concept a lot easier to understand
There's a bit of audio clipping here, but other than that this video is a great introduction to the comparison test. Thanks for sharing.
Beautifully explained

My calculus midterm is in two hours and someone sent me this video saying I will understand after watching this, and indeed I do now thank you so much

Great video, helped a lot. P.S. You kinda look like an off-brand doctor strange. lol
super helpful!
Finally, I understood what it means. Thank you.
Very clear. Thank you!
Thanks mate, this was a good video
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much sir

Thank you so much !
Excellent
Thanks a lot!
Sir you are doing amazing jobs👍thanku so much
Ur the best dr
Love from India ❤❤
I love you Dr....
If the bounds are from 2 to infinity, instead of 1 to infinity, would the P convergence change to P > 2?
Thanks . . .
Youre the best!
thank youu soo much 💖
You're welcome 😊
If numerator don't have x
can we use comparison theorem?
Asante Sana
Thank you for this

can I compare some random function as long as the inequality hold?
