Just saw the ios version of isolate and remove background. I'm a little jelly but this is still easy for us android users as well.

It's a little more involved process as compared to the iOS solution, but at least it's there.

You can do that with Samsung. Just press and hold the image then click "save the image' that's it.

My default background color ends up being black and yours is white. Probably it is just up to phone and current update. But how can you change background color after cutting the object, if you do not wanna be black/white..???

Usually it's because you use dark/night mode for your phone background. Change your phone display from Dark to Light in Settings > Display then you will get a white background.

There should be an option for background colour.

​@@rickytlc1985 the colour is for border I think. Background addition is not support. It just gives you transparent Background as a PNG file which appears as black when viewed in phone.

This doesnt work well when the image has open spaces inside lioe a donut or a hand bag with top handle straps. The background within the visible space doesnt get removed only whats around it. Which is very silly because the background and that space is the same so the editing tool should detect the color and know to remove it also.
Guess this only works best with solid images

Nope. Looking for ability to tap remove background, and it's gone line magic. I can get it in other apps, so I was going I could do it in the built -in photo editing. I realize it's mid your fault that's not included, but for others looking, I just want them to know that there smart phones can do that with the proper app. I know I can do it on Canva, Photoshop, etc...but I have to pay for them all.
