I really like Paul Washer preaching the way we can explain something is beautiful. I've listened to so many pastors but he is for me the best, he is the only one that can take me hand and leads me right up to the Father God, that's how he preaches to me he is an amazing preacher. The best for me..

what do you believe about the Holy Spirit Mr Washer, the messengers of satan comes in different ways sometimes they are humble and of a contrite spirit so that they decieve the simple. What kind of humility is this
Washer is one of my favorites But, the book I pick up to learn of the Spirit is the bible. I listen to the Spirit interpret it. If men agree that is great. If they do not, even though they may be brilliant men and scholars, I choose what the Spirit reveals. Scripture was not written so that a scholar needs to interpret it, it was written so a child could know Him From what I can determine, Ian Murray has never started a revival or has participated in anything like the power that the first church had. Nor, to my knowledge has anyone who has studied Ian had such an experience. Not ever Washer. I am sure there are some things worthwhile in that book but obviously he missed the main thing because it does not lead to revival or power in the church today. Are we so ingrained into believing that knowledge brings answers instead of revelation given by the Holy Spirit or Power? I follow those who not only know, but DO
@@Freed98 That’s a really good Question! And that’s the point of what it’s going on today in The church. The Important thing is to search GOD by yourself in privacy and in your prayers and tell him to guide and show you what’s the truth of this matter. When GOD speaks in your heart is clearer than water. ADONAI, Elohim tzevaot with you.
You are called to be a berean in your reading of the word and only those who genuinely love God take the time to dissect its meaning throughly. It’s as men if God to be learned men who are capable at answering questions. You understand the spirit when it is speaking to you because of your understanding of the revealed scriptures . If you don’t study it out you won’t be able to tell whether it’s your biases and presuppositions or the spirit
“We worship (and serve) One TRIUNE God, neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the substances of the same. For there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost (Spirit): but the GODHEAD of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Spirit) is ONE GOD. The Holy Ghost (Spirit) is One with the Father and with the Son. Equal in eternity power and glory. In creation, He moved upon the face of the waters and developed form and beauty out of disorder and confusion. He proceeded from the Father and from the Son, and took up His abode with His Church on earth. He has ever been with them since His coming on Pentecost. He is the Comforter, Guide and Sanctifier of His people.” (Acts 2:1-4; John 3:8; John 14:26, 15:26, 16:7) "The Holy Spirit is the same Lord and Master as our Lord Jesus Christ who is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Luke 22:69; Heb.1:13; 12: 2) reigning, (Luke 20:43; Act 2:35) interceding (praying) for His children (us) as our High Priest." (Heb.8:10; 10:12)
I read it based on Washer's recomendation. I thought it was really good. Then, after the whole book was finished, Appendix A, just one little page, was inserted to state that God no longer gives us spiritual gifts-that the absurd heresy of cessationism is true. Threw the book where it belonged - in the trash. Such a shame, since the first 99% was good.
I believe Paul Washer knows of the Holy Spirit but has not yet been in-dwelt by Him. Remember Apollos from the book of Acts? “Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.” Acts 18:24-25 Notice how Luke uses the phrase “fervent in spirit” to ironically describe a man who had not yet known the baptism of the Spirit. You can know your scriptures and even love the Lord before experiencing the baptism of the Spirit. Or how about what Jesus said to the disciples about the Holy Spirit? “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.“ John 14:15-17 See how the Spirit is “with” them currently (ie, alongside) but only later will the Holy Spirit dwell inside them. So what does this mean? Perhaps Pastor Washer has not yet had the revelation of what it means to be born of the Spirit, or (very unlikely worst case scenario) he is like those who Jesus claims work miracles but also work lawlessness and never knew Him. Paul here seems to love the Lord very much and I would say that the Holy Spirit is with him but not yet inside him. Imagine if Vlad Savchuk or David Diga Hernandez were asked the same question? They wouldn’t point to a book as their answer but they would point to the person of the Holy Spirt. … A confession now, I have experienced the baptism of the Spirit and walked with the Lord like a friend in the past but have let anxiety and fear of demonic oppression drive me away from my calling in recent months. It has been a while then since I felt His presence inside of me leading me like He led Jesus and Paul and David. I didn’t put this mini teaching together it just kind of fell in place with my Bible reading today and the RUclips videos I happened to watch. I sense the Holy Spirit very near to me today. Thank You Lord for Your kindness and not giving up on any one of Your children. I pray for my brother Paul here that like Apollos he can come into complete understanding and receive the full baptism of Your Spirit. Amen 🙏 (If anyone disagrees with me or has evidence that otherwise suggests Paul has been fully acquainted with the Holy Spirit, I am open to criticism and/or correction there is a chance I may be wrong but I still thank the Lord for the helpful delineation of Scripture today.)
So basically you're saying that Paul has converted millions and taught millions and still goes into the mission field where there's war with guns and bombs and famine and persecution and so many other things that he chooses to not disclose, and has not been filled with the Holy Spirit. Oh Please. I know you have your view of the Holy Spirit and seeing the names you mentioned I understand, but the primary evidence of the Apostles being filled with the Spirit was not the gifts or the miracles, they had already done that before. It was the BOLDNESS to do it when Jesus was no longer around. Acts 2. That was the difference. To say the spirit is not inside Him calls him a non-Christian. Read Romans 8 and I will add verse 8 here; " You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.
