Thank you this was very helpful for my report on Brunelleschi!
This is almost all I needed for the small section I had on perspective :)

F.Brunelleschi is one of the greatest Renaissance architects in Italy!
May somebody give me some examples of renaissance paintings which were rejecting linear perspective? Not sure what exactly does it means, does some works of Uccello or Mantegnia count? (Or like gozzoli?) Or were there some painters consciously rejecting the idea of it through their works, I think that would be very unique and interesting. Great videos btw.
As an example, Botticelli eschews linear perspective in his two most well known works, Primavera and the Birth of Venus.
Smarthistory Thank you !😀
You can't beat a bit of the old linear perspective. Great stuff.
🙊 Dr. Zucker came in hot on this one! lol. I'm so mad it reminded me of the Epic Rap Battle between "Bill Gates" and "Steve Jobs." So unexpected, it's hilarious.
Anywho, I'm impressed and inspired by Brunelleschi's inventiveness. I'm looking forward to doing a deep-dive on that "how it's done" section of your site to hear more innovations. It'll get me in a good, creative space for optimizing next week's workflow. 🙂
A little bit unrelated to the topic. What is the piano piece used as intro here?
''mhm i see it''
Enlightening, thank you.
Could someone tell me what is the name of the painting at 3:34? Who created it? Thanks
You did bitch
Jesus giving the keys to St Peter, by Perugino. a comment by Juan Miguez Munoz Corbalan also answered the question!
Love florence and the renaissance period. Love the dome.
have you seen vasris last judgement inside the dome?
Ancora per favore! Great video. More please!
PERUGINO's "Jesus giving the keys to St. Peter" (Sixtine Chapel, Vatican, Rome).

Does anyone know what the model appearing at 00:21 originates from, what is it a model of?
It's Paolo Uccello's Study for a Chalice.
