I am watching from the UK (Rugby Warwickshire) and love watching your videos and advice. Carry on with your advice and one day i may get my Florida home.
Over here in Washington state there is so many 4 bed 3 bath houses that just two months ago were listed in the high 700k to low 800k and are now listed at 500 to 600k with so many Zillow updates on weekly price cuts. People where are trying to get out of there and move to Florida
Considering moving from Louisiana to retirement village in Central Florida or over to Latitude Margaritaville. Any chance of losing money and the 55 plus resorts?
HI Ken, are there any plans for Disney to build any more homes at Golden Oak or does it stop at The Cottages ? They are all sold now which is unfortunate.
Unfortunately that’s it. There may be some opportunity for some mid rise condos over by the Four Seasons, but they haven’t made any final determination on that. In regards to single-family homes, Golden Oak is sold out 😢
Thank you for letting me know i was very interested in the Sonatina cottage i think it was one you sold and i viewed the home via video, I like the Spanish revival style homes. When i am ready to start looking again i will get in touch. I'm in the UK and desperately waiting for the travel to open up properly to the USA. 👍
I did sell that one! Such a beautiful home. There’s always going to be resales. You never know what might come in the near future in regards to other new neighborhoods as well :-)
As long as Florida has no state income tax, no snow, and things to do, it will remain a hot market. Another big thing is the politics, as many are escaping from NY and Cali. If Florida starts flipping, that might deter some people. Interest rates will also be the equalizer for many.
@@kenpozek thanks Ken and love the info you're putting out! Still have kids in high school so not ready to make the move yet, but I keep suggesting colleges in Florida so we'll see. Would definitely like to go to Disney for breakfast and not do the boot camp style visits we are accustomed to 😁.
Flipping to what? Democrat? Why would anyone leaving CA and NY to escape failed Democrat policies vote ignorantly to do the same thing from what they left? If Florida doesn't stay RED, there will be no other state left in the US worth being in. At that point time to look for a new country.
@@seattlerunner it’s true the houses in Lakeland hills auburn are constantly dropping lives every week because they are trying to leave Washington state for Florida. I speak with lots of home owners at the park And most are trying to move to Florida
I’ve had the Orlando vs Austin conversation I considered Austin however I find Orlando to be the better city it has more to do here it’s waaaay cheaper it’s more diverse (whispers) the food is better less traffic and it’s a more beautiful city. I’ve been to Austin plenty and I just don’t get the hype yes the downtown area is large with tall buildings but other than making for a nice picture it’s just fine it looks nice but Austin definitely has more music venues for sure but Orlando I hope doesn’t become Austin those property taxes are insane my wife’s aunt lives there she pays $1100 a month for a home that is not great and I’m being very nice about that. But end of the day to each their own.
There’s a lot of things I like about Austin. They do have a higher wage average because of a tech sector, the music scene is cool, and obviously I’m a fan of the huge buildings. But I agree, I like Orlando much better. How it is now, and for the potential in the future.
Sorry it’s a little late, listening in from Marlborough in England. Getting my Florida fix as we were meant to be flying in today but Biden still not allowing us 😒
@@kenpozek Thanks Ken, we were due to look for a villa too so super sad we can’t come. Fingers crossed for New Years week when we’ve re-arranged too 🤞🏽
Damn I missed the live! Agree that inflation is definitely becoming an issue and raising interest rates would be the only way to slow things down. Rents alone have gone up almost $500-$600/month in certain parts Orlando in the last 3-4 months alone

Looking forward to that day!
Still looking to move there from Palm Springs, but it seems home sales have softened a bit here.

Oh I sure hope so!
Praying for a correction I would like to move and convert my current house to a rental but prices are still nuts
Beverly, ma. Audio is fine.
Macomb MI here…any areas down there looking good for short term rental under $250k or should I wait it out ?
Catching the replay from Youngstown, OH
Thanks for watching!
