  • Here's part 2 of my ride on a privately owned Ex SEPTA 2004 New Flyer D40LF #5939 ride from Willingboro, NJ, returning back to Philadelphia 30th Street Station after having dinner at Gaetano's Steaks w/Transit Fans.
It was a fun time meeting lots of new friends and seeing my friends from New York!

I was so disappointed when they got rid of their New Flyer D40LF's from SEPTA. I saw an XDE40 was on our expressway heading to Philly in Chicago.

It was hard. They had a good long run, and now the 2nd Gen Hybrid DE40LF and the 2010's Restyle Hybrid from the 8340-8459 are being retired too. New buses are coming rapidly.
