Cheers for the lesson on the compressor block Leon 👍 What i'm struggling with the axe is getting my FRFR speakers to sound any decent as i'm only using my Presonus R80 8" AMT monitors which sound great. A tone tip video on getting the FRFR sounding right or starting point as such would be super .
Thanks for the great video. I'm using AXEFX III and when I use the compressors like in your video I'm not getting the same thickening effect that you are. I have the auto-makup on but it really sounds like the gain is turned down on the compressed signal rather than nice beefy sound. I'm using a stat too btw. Any idea on what I might be doing wrong?
those lace pickups sound so good, I have a fender player plus Hss that I want to convert to sss I'm thinking of buying some Seymour Duncan Classic Loaded Pickguard… 🙌
While this has definitely given me some better idea of the Compressor, they still confuse the snot out of me. Are there any special technique's more suited for HB guitars?
good stuff as usual Leon.. the compressor after the amp/cab was ear opening.. very cool!

OK I did a firmware update and that did the trick. I guess going from firmware 15 to 24 had some improvements.

Very underrated pickups!
