On this day in 1991, former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated. Former PM Gandhi was campaigning in Tamil Nadu for the elections, when he was killed by a suicide bomber. The bomber was linked to Sri Lankan Tamil terror group, LTTE.

While I absolutely hate Rajiv Gandhi for his mishandling of Sikh masscare and amending the constitution to change SC's decision to appease muslims, he did help to flourish computers in India.

My bdea my parents have told me how hard was it in around mumbai streets. Curfew time. I was born on 23rd may 1991 the doctor couldn't be able to come in streets were closed luckily was inside the hospital in time
