My family back in the day had an early 2000s Panasonic 6 head S-VHS machine which was absolutely fantastic. Played commercial EP tapes (A Town Like Alice) fantastically.
You are so damn funny!!! I am learning so much by watching your videos..VHS and VCR might be an outdated format but I so still enjoy it.. I love that you basically have your own network running in your house!!!
I think you can achieve the best SP quality with a 4 head (or plus) VCR, otherwise with a 2 (or 3) head VCR that doesn't play/record on LP/EP. By the way, this Toshiba mechanism is amazing and very reliable as far as I know.
This mechanism is actually not reliable, Toshiba's worst mechanism that was a joint-venture with Thomson/RCA together, and Studio Sound Electronics owner that used to sell VCR belts rate this one as the least-reliable VCR ever made in history.
@@dr.samizarafili54 Yes, the Toshiba M-65 is a fairly reliable VCR model, and it was manufactured by Samsung for Toshiba. The top case is not flat shape, so you can't put a book on top.

Will a four head play ep tapes? Can a head be replaced with any head from other brands?(four or six heads)
You should rename this video to "Drunk Canadian attempts to repair VCR"
Whuich is last longer heads ??? Sony or Toshiba et
👏👏👏
Beyond 6 heads there were also 8 heads, 9 heads, and up to 11 heads......
Unfortunately the latter two were JDM only
