Everytime i listen to this song i cry. This time it made me cry even more. It reminds me of my childhood when everything was fine and i was just a kid hanging at a party listening to this. Being happy. Now when i listen to it it makes me remember everything and how fast i grew up and the good times i had with my friends.

My friend made me memorize all the lyrics to this song in like 1st or 2nd grade to have a concert during recess because she thought i had an amazing voice and thinking about that makes me smile and gives me a false sense of security. None of my friends answer my texts (or when im really sad, calls). i’d give anything to go back and relive my 7-11 year-old life. times were so much simpler, i was so much happier. it felt like my only responsibilities were to fangirl over 1D and play outside in the sun. life flies by so fast now, i still can’t believe i’m already in high school and on my way to college. i miss my childhood so much.

My friend made me memorize all the lyrics to this song in like 1st or 2nd grade to have a concert during recess because she thought i had an amazing voice and thinking about that makes me smile and gives me a false sense of security. None of my friends answer my texts (or when im really sad, calls). I have always loved 1D, and I remember listening to all their songs. I was young then, and didn't understand that it wouldn't last forever, and I didn't enjoy it while it lasted. Thinking back on it, I really wish I could go back and listen to this song for the first time again. This song was probably my favorite out of all of them. hey you, yes you! want to make some chocolate chip cookies? here’s the recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup white sugar (201 grams / 7.1 ounces)
⅓ cup brown sugar (73 grams / 2.5 ounces)
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ eggs (decreasing egg yolk amounts creates optimized lightness and fluffy texture to the dough)
1 cup of butter (between refrigerator and room temperature) (227g/8oz)
2 ¼ cups of flour (adapt this for elevation and humidity as needed, make sure the cups are level) (288 grams / 10 ounces)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
2 cups of chocolate chips (if small, less if large)
Method
Preheat the oven to 350ºF/180ºC.
Add the vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and butter to a bowl.
Whisk flour, salt, and baking soda into another bowl.
Mix dry and wet ingredients until fully blended, without over-mixing.
Apply cooking spray to a pan so that the cookies won't stick to the baking pan.
Take a small quantity of your cookie dough and roll it in you hands into a ball shape.
Place the cookie balls on the baking pan.
Flatten each cookie dough ball with a fork.
Put cookies in the oven for about 8-10 minutes.
Take the cookies out of the oven and let them sit on a wire cooling rack for about 15 minutes to cool then enjoy!
