Just happens with cheap fans, they eventually will just fall off the bearings. From my experience buying endless amounts of cheap fans, just cash out for name brand fans because these simply will not last.

I had/have a old rare RAM cooler that the fans both screeched like that, I’d poke them, and they’d be quiet until the next time I powered on. It just gets old, and I got sick of it and tried to replace the fans, only to get screwed by Amazon, once again, and said screw it and just stopped using it because it’s not necessary to begin with.
fun fact!: You will not lose a finger unless the fans have been sharpened to the level of a literal knife. and even then they would have to spin at such a speed that you would have a higher chance of getting to meet jesus than to have your finger cut off!

Fr though, if this is happening to your case fans, just buy some new fans, the bearings are probably worn down and it'll just start again and again.

The bearing is dry. Put a Drop of PTFE Oil on the Bearing under the Sticker and it will go away forever...
