The scene where Joji refused to blink and admit the crime even in coma haunted me a lot. Joji is a masterpiece!! Nice analysis MA.
As far as he is concerned it was the SOCIETY that did it, not him.
@@rithwikshinek1808 I doubt whether he meant that when he said it to Jomon or texted to Poppy. It felt like he was using this cliche dialogue of criminals to blame the society and circumstances to find a justification infront of the peoplearound him. He always had this in him, trying to get sympathy from people around him and showing he is struggling.
@@93nygel Was it intentional? I dont think so. Its his nature kicking in, his urge to escape from taking responsibility for his actions and blaming it on someone else.
@@rithwikshinek1808 Exactly, I agree with you. It was not intentional and even he didn't know he will go this far to hide his crime. His instincts made him act like that and blaming the society is part of his escape tactics from his guilt and the ill-will the society will have about him. Deep down he never felt like the society is the real f**ker even though he tried to convince himself so.
That shows how deep his criminal psychology is!!

തുടക്കം മുതൽ തന്നെ ഗ്യാസ് കുറ്റിയുമായി വരുന്ന ബിൻസിയെ ആണ് കാണിക്കുന്നത്, പിന്നീട് ജോജി ഗ്യാസ് conect ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ അത്രയും കാലം ആ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന ജോജി ഇതെന്തോ പുതിയ system ആണെന് പറയുന്നു, ബിൻസി മാറി നിൽക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞു അത് conect ചെയ്യുന്നു, അത്രയും ചെറിയ കാര്യം വരെ ചെയ്യാൻ പോലും ബിൻസി തന്നെ വേണം അവിടെ, രാവിലെ breakfast ന്റെ സമയത്ത് പോലും ബിൻസി പറയുന്നു 2 മിനുട്ട് ഇരുന്നാൽ ചോർ ready ആവുമെന്ന്, അത്ര രാവിലെ തന്നെ ഭർത്തവിനുള്ള ചോർ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ബിൻസ്‌യുടെ കഷ്ടപ്പാട് ആ സീനിൽ നമുക്ക് കാണിച്ചു തരുന്നു, തോട്ടിൻ കരയിൽ പോയി കത്തി മൂർച്ച കൂട്ടി മീൻ മുറിക്കാനും ബിൻസി മാത്രമേ ആ വീട്ടിൽ ഒള്ളു..
ഇനി ഇമ്മാതിരി കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞോണ്ട് തന്നെ മുകളിലേക്ക് വിടെരുതെന്നു ഭർത്താവ് പറയുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള ബിൻസിയുടെ reaction തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവിടെ എല്ലാം സഹിച്ചു ഇനിയും എത്ര കാലം നിൽക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന തോന്നലിൽ അടുക്കളയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ബിൻസി ഫ്രിഡ്ജിൽ നിന്നും തണുത്ത വെള്ളമെടുക്കുന്നതിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ജോജിയോട് കയർക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നു, യാഥാർത്തത്തിൽ ബിൻസി എല്ലാവരെയും സഹിച്ചു നിൽക്കുകയാണ് ആ വീട്ടിൽ.
അപ്പൻ മരിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം വേലക്കാരിയെ വെച്ച ബിൻസി സോഫയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് കയ്യിൽ TV യുടെ remote വെച്ച് relax ആയി ആണ്, പിന്നീട് bedroom ഇൽ മൊബൈലിൽ കളിച്ചിരുന്ന ബിൻസിയേയും, കാൽ വിരലിൽ nail polish ചെയ്യുന്ന ബിൻസിയേയും നമുക്ക് കാണാം ! ബിൻസിയുടെ ഓരോ move മെന്റസും ,ഓരോ ഡയലോഗുകളും ഈ പടത്തിൽ പോത്തേട്ടൻ ബ്രില്ലിൻസ് ആണ് !.

ഫഹദ് ഏതറ്റം വരെ പോകുമെന്ന് ഊഹിക്കാം.പക്ഷെ ബാബുരാജ് ഞെട്ടിച്ചു.അപ്പൻ്റെ അടക്കിന് പടക്കം പൊട്ടിക്കാൻ ഷമ്മി തിലകനോട് അനുമതി ചോദിക്കുന്നതുൾപ്പെടെ പല സീനും ഗംഭീരമായിരുന്നു.

Dileesh Pothan always sets his standards. My fav malayalam director. Movie ൽ പല കാര്യങ്ങളും allegories ആയി കാണിച്ചത് വളരെ ഇഷ്ടമായി. അപ്പനെ പോലെ തന്റേടിയും കരുത്തനുമായ രൂപഭാവങ്ങളിൽ അപ്പന്റെ തനി പകർപ്പായ, നല്ലവനായ മൂത്തമകൻ. കാണാൻ രൂപഭാവങ്ങളിൽ അൽപ്പം വ്യത്യാസമുള്ള, അത്യാഗ്രഹമുള്ള എന്നാൽ കൊലപാതകത്തിന് കൂട്ട് നിൽക്കാത്ത, അത്ര കരുത്തനല്ലാത്ത രണ്ടാമത്തെ മകൻ. അപ്പനിൽ നിന്നും രൂപഭാവങ്ങളിലും ആകാരത്തിലും പൂർണമായും വ്യത്യസ്തനായ ദുർബലനായ മൂന്നാമൻ. പനച്ചേൽ കുട്ടപ്പൻ എന്ന ഒറ്റ മൂശയിൽ വാർത്തെടുത്ത ഈ 3 മക്കളുടെയും രൂപഭാവങ്ങളും സ്വഭാവവും മാറുന്നതിലെ ഈ gradiant nature വളരെ രസകരമായി തോന്നി. ഇത് ബോധപൂർവ്വമായി ചെയ്തതാണോ എന്ന് അറിയില്ല. പക്ഷെ ഇതുവഴി പനച്ചേൽ കുട്ടപ്പൻ എന്ന കാരണവരുടെ 3 ഷേഡുകളും, white, grey and dark, ക്രമത്തിൽ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തിയത് പോലെ തോന്നി. പിന്നെ ജോജിയിലെ ക്രിമിനലിന്റെ transformation സൂക്ഷ്മമായി ഒപ്പിയെടുത്തത് ഗംഭീരമായി. ദുർബലനും ഭീരുവുമായ ജോജിയിൽ നിന്ന് കരുത്തനായ ചേട്ടനെ കൊല്ലാനുള്ള അവസ്ഥയിലേക്ക് എത്തുന്ന ജോജി. അയാളുടെ psychological transformation സിനിമ നന്നായി അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തിയതായി തോന്നി. പാത്തും പതുങ്ങിയും അപ്പന്റെ മുറിയിലെത്തി പേടിച്ചു വിറച്ചു മരുന്ന് മാറ്റി വെക്കുന്ന ആത്മവിശ്വാസമില്ലാത്ത ക്രിമിനൽ....ആ successful ആയ കൊലപാതകം അയാൾക്ക്‌ നൽകുന്ന ആത്മവിശ്വാസമാണ് മരണവീട്ടിലെ അയാളുടെ smile. ഒടുവിൽ മൂത്ത ചേട്ടൻ ഉടുപ്പിടാതെ ഗേറ്റ് അടക്കുന്ന ഒരു രംഗമുണ്ട്. ആദ്യമായി ബാബുരാജ് ഉടുപ്പിടാതെ വരുന്ന സീൻ ആണ് അത്. ആ ഇരുട്ടത്ത് അയാൾ അയാളുടെ അപ്പനെ ഓർമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു(അതിനു ശേഷമുള്ള പല scenilm ബാബുരാജിന്റെ costume ൽ ഉള്ള മാറ്റം പ്രകടമാണ്.). അത് നോക്കി മട്ടുപ്പാവിൽ നിന്ന് സിഗരറ്റ് വലിക്കുന്ന ജോജി. ചേട്ടനിലൂടെ അപ്പന്റെ മടങ്ങി വരവാണ് ജോജി കാണുന്നത്. അയാളുടെ ഉപബോധമനസിൽ പതിയുന്ന ഈ ഒരു ആശയമാണ് തൊട്ടടുത്ത scenil അയാൾ സ്വപ്നമായി കാണുന്നത്. തോട്ടത്തിൽ വെച്ചു ചേട്ടനെ കൊല ചെയ്യുന്നത് ആകസ്മികമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ജോജി എന്ന ഭീരുവായ ക്രിമിനൽ ആകെ പരിഭ്രാന്തനായേനെ. എന്നാൽ വളരെ ആത്മവിശ്വാസത്തോടെയാണ് ജോജി അത് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അപ്പന്റെ മടങ്ങി വരവ് എന്ന ഭയം ആവാം അയാളെ ഇതിനു ശക്തമാക്കിയത്. വളരെ മികച്ച കഥാപാത്ര സൃഷ്ടികളും cinematographyum.❤️...(Still my all time fav is maheshinte prathikaaram😊)

ജോജി നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫിലിം ഇൻഡസ്ട്രിയിൽ മലയാളത്തിന് ഒരു പ്രത്യേക space ഉണ്ടെന്ന് ഈ സിനിമ ഒരിക്കൽകൂടി ഊട്ടി ഉറപ്പിച്ചു. BGM സിനിമയുടെ making ൽ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക പങ്ക്‌ വഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നല്ല Casting.

Something I noticed and never heard anyone mention. The character Gireesh. The worker in Panachel family. There's a scene where he claps and applauds when Kuttappan manages to sign the cheque perfectly. His own son gets disappointed at that but Gireesh is genuinely happy for his boss and says doctor had told we must encourage Kuttappan. It's also Gireesh who takes care of Kuttappan , even with the medicines after he started recovery. At last Gireesh was still there when truth comes out and he stands firm on his ground against Joji when he insults him and try to push him off, determined to get justice for Kuttapan and Jomon.

ഫിലിം കണ്ടു.. അമിത പ്രതീക്ഷ യോടെ തന്നെയാണ് കണ്ടത്.. 100 % satisfy ചെയ്യാൻ dileesh പോത്തന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഓരോ character ഉം ഓരോ ഷോട്ടും ഇത്ര perfect ആയി ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്തൊന്നും മലയാളത്തിൽ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല .. writting, cenemotography ,bgm oke innovative and unique ആയി തോന്നി . Fahad ൽ നിന്ന് ഇത് espect ചെയ്തിരുന്നുന്നെങ്കിലും ഞെട്ടിച്ചത് ബാബുരാജ് ആണ്... Overall joji is a well designed craft

One funny thing I noticed is that Joji started using the 'society' reference more often after Jomon's "society oru myraanu" dialogue to him. It's about criminality of human and how they react with random situation and it's conveyed properly and explore the concept of greed and how it pushes someone to the edge until he loses his own mind and dignity
And every sequence of the screenplay was just lit 🔥🔥
Director dileesh pothan did his job well as portrayed.
Technical side of the movie was also great.
Music and shyju Khalid's cinematography brings the movie to another level.
Also the characterisation of artists was brilliant 💯💯
Overall the entire cast was incredible🤩

ഈ ഫിലിം paart 2nd3rd ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടാവാൻ സാധ്യത ഉണ്ട്. ഇവിടെ അപ്പനും മക്കളും മരുമകളും കൊച്ചുമോൻ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ബുദ്ധിമാനും തന്ത്രശാലികളും ആണ്. ജോജി ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ബുദ്ധിമാൻ pzycho അല്ല തീർച്ച. ജോജി മരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. കണ്ണ് അടക്കാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കാതെ പുതിയ പ്ലാൻ കണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞു. എപ്പോ എന്താ വേണ്ടത് അപ്പോൾ ബുദ്ധി പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്ന അപാര കഴിവ് ജോജിക്ക് ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ അതുക്കും മേലെ ആണ് മൂത്തമകന്റെ മകന്. ഇവിടെ 2nd paart തുടങ്ങാം.
