Hi Dot, if you have access to a lot of people taking lessons, could you make a video where everyone makes the same pitch note with the same vowel, and string them one after another to let us focus on the subtle undertones and differences in timbre between everyone. I believe this would help us expand our vocal understanding.
If in a teaching setting, one plays to each student the same sample, they can replicate it with their own timbre. Having the most diverse set of voices possible would let us hear all the different sound qualities. If it were just famous singers, then the recognition our brains would be flooded with would overwrite the intended epiphany. Look up videos where a thousand people's faces are averaged together, it works because it shows universal qualities. The sounds would be one after another though, to see each one clearly.

Hi @Thriving in Amber, I'd have to think about! It might be easier to sample a word or vowel in popular song and string them together. 🤔
