Sure wish I was closer would love to work with you for week just helping with all chores really would love to help milk those beautiful cows you do great job. And dream of running a Fendt tractor
Respect to all dairy farmers you are a different breed of people that aren't shy of work some dedication to do your job come rain or shine hell or high water milk goes in the tank thank you
Well the yield would be bigger if there hadn't been such a severe drought, of course, but it is more than we expected, so yes, we are happy with results 🙂 thank you for watching 🙂
Whats your favorite tractor? My Dream is to drive a Fendt but not many around here. whats your winters like there how cold you get? I milked for a neighbor for a few weeks with Fleckvieh cows and just came to love them gentle giants
May i ask, why dont you have a silo thats just straight without the end wall , couse i think its easyer to have a tractor go in and out thats that.anyway Love your content really 👍❤️
We built silos on a slope. We would have to do a lot more land levelling to build normal open ends silos. It would be easier to fill them though but there is also a roof, getting in the way 😅 and let me tell you, it's nice to have a roof above the silo 🙂 Thanks 🙂👍
Central Slovenia. We do not irrigate the corn, there is usually enough rain. This year we had a pretty bad drought, but the corn did quite well, we planted Pioneer P9486 AquaMax.
Well right after corn silage, we go through the stubble with power harrow and seed some kind of grass, ryegrass normally. Next spring we get one cut out of it. Then we plow it and plant corn again 😉
did you finally get some rain? everything atleast looks sort of green in the Video, cant compare that to our landscape literally everything is brown and grey rn :/
@@samlangenberg407 In the description of the video, where he planted the maize, he writed, that he has less acre of his own maize this year. The field he had before, will be grass for the next years, so that the soil can regenerate from the all year maize.
We're getting more frequent rain showers now yes, but it's still dry... Yeah it looks green here, some parts of our country are also brown and dried up... 🙄 As @da_Markus said, we have a little less of our own corn. We bought 3 more hectares. It yielded better than we expected this year 😀
Loved seeing the local farmers helping each other keep the chopper cost as low as possible, wish it was still that way around our farm
Yeah, we should do it more often 🙂
Nice work! Thank You for sharing this with us!
Awesome vid 👍 some really nice tractors pulling the corn in looks like the yield was good considering the weather we've all had
Thanks 👍
Thank you 🙂 yes, its true 🙂👍

That Claas forage harvester is a Mighty looking machine! And it must be tough to get the cows to walk past those beautiful bunkers of silage. ✌
Yep! 😁 haha yeah, I keep telling them to wait till the winter 😋

Custom Harvester: how many tractors and trailers do you need for corn harvest?
Farmer's POV: Yes!
If you didn't know, Slovenia is "tractor land".
Haha 😂 🤷♂️
@@mirkokonestabo8645 Exactly, Slovenia has the highest number of tractors per capita.
Ого😳. В этом году корма очень много. Хороший урожай это результат трудолюбия и любви к своей земле! Консервант в силос добавляли?
благодарю вас. Да. 🙂
Whats your favorite tractor? My Dream is to drive a Fendt but not many around here. whats your winters like there how cold you get? I milked for a neighbor for a few weeks with Fleckvieh cows and just came to love them gentle giants
I like JD 6430 or 7530 or 8530 😁 or Fendt 510C Turboshift 😎 we have pretty mild winters lately, but it can still get down to - 10°C 😉 thats nice 👍
Great video! Is the chopper a custom operator and all the tractors and dump trailers your neighbors ?
Thanks 🙂 thats right 👍
Nice video as always!
What country are you from? It's very green where you are! Here in France it is dry.
Best wishes
A French dairy farmer
Thanks 🙂
I'm from Slovenia. Yeah we're finally getting some more rain showers now, but we had very dry summer too... 🙄 Take care! 🙂
muito bom
Wow so many machines how far away is the field? isn't too expensive with this year's gas prices ?
If the harvester is standing still its much more expensive
The field we bought was about 17 kilometers away and as @Florian said, we try to keep the forager running 😀
Bella azienda sei un grande lavoratore. Ti devo fare i complimenti .where is your attività??
Grazie! 🙂 We farm in Slovenia 😉
Lot going on for 2 days!.Are you happy with what you got because there’s still room in the fourth pit ?
Yep 😀 yes, we are satisfied with the yield 🙂 We will put 4th cutting on top in a 4th silo 😉
@@farmerspov4709 All going to plan then👍
Yes, or hopefully, we're getting some more frequent rain showers lately so we're hoping to get enough 4th cutting to fill the silo up 😀
Top video tko kt zmer.
Looks just like southwest Wisconsin or north eastern Iowa by drone. Just the tractors and trailers don't quite match.
Nice 😀 yep, though I wouldn't mind a 4440 or something... 😁
@@farmerspov4709 I wouldn't mind one either tbh making hay on open station tractors here in the summer really turns me red and sunburns my head....

12 acres of corn and around 25 acres a cut for grass silage. Normally its enough.
