- Afflict is an underused keyword in Marvel Snap! I think it can have a lot more application than just negative power but I would love to see more affliction cards join the game. Here are some amazing ideas to support the archetype as well as a creative spin on Afflict!

Does the power couple have to be two new cards or can one already exist?
Good question! Can be 2 new or 1 new + 1 existing with a new power couple ability or 2 existing with a new power couple ability

I really like the cards you make for the challenge, I'm sometimes so impressed by how much Snap-esque your cards are, it's honestly mind blowing. Loved Blackheart a lot, and probably one of the very few times I think the effect not only suited him perfectly but is also balanced, Snap-like and likely for him to have it!

It was probably a bit too strong for sure, but I really grew on the idea so I posted it like that. :)
Zombie captain America would be more of a set up card, meant to boost other zombie cards in your deck, that would be cool to see.
Zombie deck type would be sick, Snap needs expansion releases to add new archetypes
It's a shame people complain when their cards don't show up... But this Blackheart art is insane! The idea is really cool too but seems a bit overpower

Maybe Santana could say “eqch round, every card drawn after your first…….” That way it becomes a tech card against card draw but if you build a junk deck yourself with goblins can take advantage of it.
The Satana art/variants are insane. I wish I could do this, but I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
mystique could work with zombie cap as well, since it copies ongoing AND on reveal text (i.e. electro)
For the power couple designers, remember that absorbing man copies the power couple effect (buffs the other card AND counts as the card it copied, allowing 2 extra power couple buffs). Surely something cool to design with that in mind
now im imagining all of the power couples in a three-way with absorbing man, thanks for that

What I would change on J. Jonah Jameson is that It would be written "give -1 Attack" and then the MENACE! part would be just an audio from the card's effect triggering
I honestly like the idea behind zombie Captain America but I don’t want to see this game getting to a point where there are multiple different status conditions to keep track of. What might be cool is if zombie cap added The Hunger CARD to your opponents side of the location, which would then afflict -1 (or -2) power per turn.
Alternatively The Hunger could make copies of itself filling the location, forcing the opponent to play into the lane or else suffer being locked out of it
Some of these custom cards are incredible. I REALLY want them to release some What If Variants. Honestly, It could be a whole season. It would be amazing! SD, if you're looking. Take notes!

After seeing the X-Men '97 trailer, I want a limited time power couple of Wolverine and Gambit where Gambit targets his discard to Wolverine if Wolverine is in hand.
If Second Dinner would ever do an expansion of mini-set, Zombies would be dope.

Zombie cap would be great with Mystique, Spider-Man, Steggeon, Polaris etc. so we have infected cards everywhere, making Zombie Cap and mystique pretty big
That Blackheart would be so broken but at the same time making a Blackheart meta though is something I need Marvel Snap to do at some point.
Love your blackheart but I think it should probably have -2 power so it has a downside when played, love it though
Blackheart is OP at 6/-3. Mixed with hazmat/luke 8:08 cage plus whatever cards you play that all get to double despite not actually feeling the effects of the affliction. That would be the most broken card in the game.
I don’t really think so, it’s reciprocal so you’d be doubling any of your opponents cards that have been afflicted. So hazmat is risky and the only other one is Yellowjacket
@@Drewberry_Gaming what does man thing do to a card? I know it's different because ongoing vs on reveal, but Selene afflicts, as does spider woman. Regardless, wong or the grand master on the hazmat and as long as you have Cage, it's game over. Just your -22 hobgoblin after Selene hits him is one guaranteed lane. Getting one more seems pretty easy
The best new card would be Ben brode..which will be 6 cost 0 power..on reveal:you win the game...🤷🏻

Wait how is Blackheart not entirely broken in any deck with typhoid mary in it lol
Typhoid doesn’t afflict negative power, she has an aura that gives negative power. Just like sewer system and stuff, I don’t see that applying mechanically to blackheart
So basically most suggested cards in this channel are
- 2 costs
- Does "keyword" when "Keyword"

This is 5 out of over 100 submissions. The challenge has a specific keyword so yes you will see it in the text. And no they don’t, but in my 1+ year of doing this I’ve seen word for word custom cards end up being cards made in snap.
