  • Haworth is such a quaint Victorian village you've probably recognized it from such films and programs as The Railway Children, North and South (UK version), and of course Jane Eyre. Historically the parsonage to the village was house by one of the worlds most literary families, the Bronte sisters. Charlotte, Emily and Anne bring this corner of Yorkshire to life in each of their acclaimed writings and poetry! Windswept moors and visually stunning country life aside the village is well worth a visit if you venture to Northern England. The museum is fascinating! The Bronte society tracked down originally owned heirlooms to showcase and recreate what the home looked like and felt like for this family of 5 while they lived there. The schoolhouse Charlotte taught at and subsequently had her wedding reception at are directly across the street. The church their father preached at is directly through the front garden gate. We hope you enjoy this small historic corner of England as much as we did!
