I dont know about Instagram because I don't have it. But being bald is just a hairstyle. I'm super chill. I don't wear makeup or jewelry and my clothes look like a uniform (lol, I'm like Doug). People need to realize different people like different things. And that's it.👍🏾🤗❤

Well I am 54 years old and I decided to by choice liberate myself from hair and all that comes with it particularly in my city and country which is definitely weave down your back country but hey to each his own. The first time I walked out of the house after shaving my head using your video on shaving by the way, I took a major deep breath, put on sunglasses and ear phones with loud gospel music. and went to church. You know the place of no condemnation. LOL! The plus is many men here say wow natural, beautiful but the women....!!!! One female cashier at my local grocery store said, "you are so brave." I asked why, "well between the blue mascara and..." Oh my bald head you mean I asked. "Yes" Well I told her I decided to liberate myself from other people's perception of what I should look like. I am very happy. It is so nice to jump into a shower after a sweaty morning run and just let the water run full force on my head. My makeup is lipstick which I love and mascara some times. Foundation and powder I cannot do because of my sensitive skin but my go to moisturizer is Moroccan Argan Oil. I love being bald and that's my very happy business. :)
Four years ago I shaved my head, just because. People freaked out at first they thought I had cancer. When it all settled I was complemented a lot. It's felt empowering flaunting my bald head.

A lot of guys are really stupid and have been brainwashed to think a bald woman automatically looks like a man. No, a bald woman looks like a woman...with no hair on her head. That's it! If you were in a relationship with a man and a stranger made a nasty or cheeky comment in his presence, how would you expect your boyfriend to react? ( I'm quite curious about this)

At most my boyfriend would ignore them or at most if it got too serious, call that person out on their sh**.

Hi Karen, I came across your video and this is a topic I am very familiar with. First, I wish to comment that as a person who has elected to wear low or no hair; I have never felt more Beautiful! It is a freeing and liberating experience and when that is exuded from a person, confidence exceeds and non-seeking validation is evident...that is pretty hard to trump. Also, some people will have their definition on what "beauty" is suppose to look for another. The actual fact is Beauty is a State of Being*, if YOU/I FEEL We Are Beautiful! We ARE. It amazes me that some people would question another on appearance instead of focusing on their own INNER reckoning; this way, they could put the focus on themselves because if they feel confident; they will have nothing to question about another, there would be not point to do so. We should go deeper than what is on the outer surface, it is Far More Interesting, Indeed! By The Way...YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! Period. Only YOU Define Y O U. JOYOUS BLESSINGS*

I've been bald since mid November and it was so liberating for me because I'd been thinking about shaving my head for about a year prior to actually doing it. I'm fine with it, it's just weird how much of a big deal other people make of me not having hair when to me it's not that serious. I'm comfortable this way and I don't feel like I need to "compensate" in femininity in other ways. The rest of the world just needs to chill lol
