Lol, loved your story! Something similar happened to me last summer (or was it on 2020? 🤔) when I was writing a story. I wrote a few chapters and couldn't go on. I was writing it on third person, so I tried on first person, but my main character had amnesia, so it was harder 😅 Anyways, I finished in third person, really weird story.
