he was likely put in there because of over crowding.since he survived they found another rescue that could adopt him cause they didn't have the room to house him.which is hard to do because almost all no kill rescues are filled to the brim and often will turn down animals unless they absolutely must. if people spayed and nurtured their pets and were responsible.there wouldn't be a need to have kill shelters.but sadly we do not live in such a world.

Cat falls 14 stories. Big whoop. I’ve heard of cats whom have fallen from planes and surviving. Between 1-5 floors, the cat is springy enough to weather the impact. 8- and up, the cat opens up like a flying squirrel and glides down. But doesn’t have enough skin to really see it clearly

This is a true story, but once when I was out boating with my family, we floated passed a fully grown swan. It was right next to the boat and was peering in, when we noticed it's neck was twisted and probably broken out of place, giving it a crooked look. But whilst we observed it to see if it was in any pain, it showed no signs and kept following us until it lost interest. We left it and the next time we were passing the river in the car, we saw him/her again bobbing casually on the water, and despite being unable to bend their neck very far, they scooped up the crumbs lying on the back. I have only seen them twice and not since, but I hope they at least lived a good life, despite their injury

My dog Daisy jumped off a balcony and broke all four legs she's a chihuahua and my dog Sara who's a chihuahua dashund survived massive blood loss from fleas we couldn't take and my parents were gonna put her down till my cousin helped her now she's healthy she also got bit regularly by two pit bulls and that's how we got her. We got both for free cause the owners of Daisy couldn't raise her and was my cousins uncle and Sara was my aunt's best friends dog so we got her for free to and Sara's old owner was a groomer and veterinarian so her treatments are free to
