    Hi,
Really worth this session for functionals like me who just raising concerns that the Developers can do anything beyond the boundaries. Its just bcz functional does not have Database knowledge and pushing Developers for any kind of implementation.
After this we can also have DB knowledge so that we can delivery the exact requirement to any dev guys.
You session was so na coo!!!!!
    Thanks,
    Vikas T

    SUMMARY OF VIDEO
1 unstructrued vs structured data tables
2-know the location of a file in file system whereas in dbms we take only data and don't needed data location .ex youtube video.
3-get the comlete file (20GB) in file system wheras small in dbms(25 kb).
4-write program for each programs and compiled them again and again in file system but dbms has already loaded compiled programs which needed small query only.
5.Redundency of data -Same file stored multiple times with hidden phone no and address but in dbms it is stored at same(one location) place.
6-Incosistency of data- data is deleted from CSE but not from ECE of same faculty in file system.
7-Concurrent acess-reading and writing at same time
    8-integritiy- balance

    Hi Miss,
I have a question on the data retrieval.
As you said that internally in DBMS as well, file system is the one managing the data, now let's say we want that 25KB data from DBMS, and that's correct DBMS will only provide us 25KB of that data but to pull that data, file system is the one that will pull the whole 25GB of data for the DBMS and from that 25GB of Database the DBMS is providing us 25KB of data.
    How is this optimizable approach?
I know if we are at a remote loation and we are requesting a 25KB of data from database using DBMS, then it'll only prompt us that 25KB cause DBMS will be installed in the server machine itself, but what if both server and client machine are same, I mean what if client is executing the query at the server itself, then it's not optimized in any way, cause to retreiving that 25KB the file system has to pull the 25GB junk for the DBMS.
