The 'Register the new Teams as the chat app for Microsoft 365...' option in Teams doesn't work for me. I can click the check box, it instantly changes back to being un-checked. Must be some error happening in the background which prevents this setting being enabled.

Thankyou, the final regsvr32 command fixed this issue for us.
Reinstall fixed it. The previous steps did not work for me now but one have worker in the passed. Cheers!

I'm missing the button "slow and disable COM Add-ins" now what? I have the other 5 buttons.
Hello, one little question. I can see the Add-In in the active add-ins, but it's still not shown in the menu bar. What I am doing wrong?
You may need to delete the add-in and install Teams again. Sometime it can be stubborn

None of these tips worked for me. I had to switch back from "New Teams" to retore the button.
Nothing worked even settings laptop to factory settings and re-install teams didi not work
