I feel the same. I don't generally like girl groups too much since I feel like many of them are kinda boring... Maybe boring is the wrong word, but they're too cute/innocent, if you know what I mean. Guy groups often joke around and act all crazy while I feel like it's just not really the same with girl groups. You know what, I've been a Kpop fan for too long but in my opinion MAMAMOO has the most genuine and is the most worth-it supporting girl group these days. I've noticed in their interviews, dance practices, variety show appearances, fan meets, live shows and etc, they always seem to have FUN. Something that you can rarely see with other Idol groups. Just saying though.
Other groups today: high-end luxury brands from head to toe, from the moment they debut. Mamamoo: brandless tops/jeans and Vans sneakers, 2 years into their debut. Videos like these are cool cause it reminds us where they came from, this was probably right after their first big "hit song" Um Oh Ah Yeah when they started breaking even and earning real $$$ for themselves.

I think the biggest factor w/ their dance even tho it is simple is the attitude they bring. Like why are ppl not bored every time they perform? Their stage presence is that big amd can hype up the crowd. I guess this is also why i feel it lacks something when others do try to cover their songs. I mean it is a good cover but not the same effect as mmm.
