    Thanks for the insight. What do you consider optimum vsl for a chromatic? Between 24 and 25”, does it make a significant difference in the high register regarding fret spacing?

    For a person with a hand span of 9 1/4 inches spread from thumb to pinky, what vsl would you recommend for comfortable chord playing? Thank you.

    Great info Richard..
    Would adding galax back help with the sustainability, on a smaller VSL?

      Lorrie this one has a galax back on it. And yes absolutely will add sustain to any vsl.
