Ai-oon was consumed by guilt but she never taught of leaving May until she felt she didn't deserved her. May always knew who she was and in the end, her only concern was that Ai-oon stayed with her. This is a story of forgiveness, acceptance and the most beautiful love. We can not erase the way May and Ai fell in love. While Ai was way better than May have ever imagine, May was the one who guided Ai to her better self. ¿Sad for Oom? yes, but this was a love meant for Ai-oon since the very start. I really don't know, but i believe the right thing to do is to just let it be.

Series may is way better than novel may tbh. In the novel she hold NO ACCOUNTABILITY because all these circumstances made her met ai oon. Ai oon is hella dumb but atleast she's likeable unlike Joe of my stand in.
