Roselle thrives best in black loam soil, requiring just 5 kg of seeds per acre. Sowing takes place in July, and harvesting occurs in November. With the potential to yield 5 quintals per acre, Roselle is a highly profitable crop. From 9 kg of fresh flowers, farmers can produce 1 kg of dried flowers, which sell for ₹280-350 per kg in the market.
