Thought you were just abt to capture a proposal at the falls. Also, I smiled at the "Clyde" reference. I wonder how many will get it? I'm certainly old enough, lol.

I thought the same at the falls! I had to explain the Clyde reference to my son after that LOL!

Another fantastic video!! There are several waterfalls in NC that I want to visit, and some of them are in the Dupont State Forest. I will get to them....eventually. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us! :)

Thanks! And I know what you mean, I had a map of the area (as well as at least one more waterfall that appeared in movies) that will just have to wait until next time.

We explored Pisgah a little bit, and I can't wait to return when my achilles is healed so I can get my hike on!

Since you've been to Pisgah, you no doubt have seen Looking Glass Rock. Have you hiked to the top? I've been wanting to do that for nearly 10 years. This trip was my first time actually seeing it. The hike doesn't sound too difficult (7 miles round trip).

I seen the trailhead to Moore Cove, but was running out of daylight that day (and wasn't sure how long/difficult the hike was.) We went to Hooker Falls also, but saved it for another video...

You're not wrong. All the main trails we hiked in this little video, are capable of vehicles driving on them (one of those trails actually has a reservable picnic shelter that they open the lane to for cars!) You didn't think all those movies made there would actually make their stars hike to the locations, did you? LOL! There are definitely more "trail-like" trails elsewhere in the state forest.
