- Listen to some of the most beloved overtures and arias from famous operas and operettas by Mozart, Léhar, Strauss, Offenbach, Lecocq and Kálmán. This 2017 concert in Paris had the audience literally dancing in the aisles! Featuring the Orchestre de Paris under the baton of Thomas Hengelbrock and vocal performances by soprano Annette Dasch and tenor Cyrille Dubois.

певцы довольно средние она и вообще в конце арии не могла вытянуть. оркестр смотреться гармонично и это все что можно еще добавить.

A lovely entertainment of this classic. The tenor in particular was well cast. The soprano perhaps a little too large of voice?

Ну какой это граф? Тощий худосочный нескладный еврей!
Да и "графиня" больше похожа на колхозницу-ударницу. Можно, конечно, закрыть глаза и слушать - сойдёт. Но это же оперетта! Здесь смотреть надо!
Yeah, sorry, a lot of this music is waltz music. And much of what we see in this video is purported to be couples waltzing. Sorry again -- holding a partner in your arms while shifting one's weight from one foot to another is NOT waltzing. A true waltz requires a LOT of room to move about, not merely shifting one's weight. But sadly I guess that's what we see today as ballroom dancing.
While the dancing is meh, I must say the music is spectacular. Thanks! Kudos to the orchestra and conductor! We didn't need the visuals which were so underwhelming -- i mean why even bother?!
