I had a similar meet up story to that. Found out one of the guys I played gears 4 with occasionally, lived 2 blocks away from me while I was in college because we randomly talked about the weather one night lol

Been there since the beginning and i say feel 1 and 3 were the best but still love 2. Went back been playing 2 and 3 but in 3 its like im still good lol idk if its just an old game or the servers or what but either way gears 3 was amazing.
