Van Tran I actually, even though I am a shinhwa changjo, prefer Jeehoon's and Kangta's voices more. They sound smoother to me. :) But I was sad though that they didnt win when they deserved it with their song. Hyesung was so adorable.
tbh, I don't think I've ever preferred Kangta's voice. I don't hate it, but it does have that screechy quality so prevalent in the newer kpop boyband vocals that I prefer not to have in my main vocals. Kangta's sense of musicality is obviously very great and he is a very talented performer, but his voice is just naturally thinner/less depth; he can imitate soul, but he can never truly possess it. Jihoon and Hyesung has the kind of voices that blends into the sound system...it's hard to explain, but when they sing live, their voices do not separate itself from the MR or live band; they can scream as much as they want into a microphone and it will never be jarring.
10 years since I've become a fan of S.... they never fail to impress. Such a great performance!!!!

Can we just appreciate the fact that despite them not being represented by the same company anymore [Hyesung and Shinhwa ditched S.M. the same year S made their debut] he still is performing with Kangta and Ji Hoon 11-12 years later? Am glad S.M. allowed this to happen and they're not holding a grudge against Hyesung.
they filed a lawsuit AGAINST SM. for slavery conditions on the contract, so they didnt "ditched" SM
Um yeah, that's called "ditching SM". 'Cause their contracts allowed SM to push them too hard. So they left.

Well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I personally disagree and think "ditching" fits the described situation perfectly.
Old comment, but Shinhwa didn't file lawsuits against SM for those reasons though, so why say they ditched them? They left when their contracts ran out because not all the members were offered new contracts.
