    The flight attendants' ability to calmly and accurately instruct passengers in an urgent situation and the discipline of the passengers who calmly followed their instructions are the reason why not a single person was killed. This is truly commendable. I'm proud to be a Japanese. I would also like to express my condolences to the Coast Guard officers who lost their lives in this accident. They had a mission to bring relief supplies to the areas hit by the earthquake as soon as possible

    It's troubling they weren't able to extinguish the fire for hours even with additional fighting equipment.
    Looks like we need to research and develop new equipment to deal with these carbon fibre planes - if the crash had been only slightly worse and there were injured people on board then there would've been no way to save them.

    • @MrSchwabentier
      @MrSchwabentier 5 месяцев назад +3

      well the last person left the plane 18 minutes afetr the crash. carbonfibre planes are very good when it comes to initial fire protection. In your scenario injured people have a much better chance to be rescued from this than from a traditional aluminium plane.

      Well the coastguard plane would be laden with fuel what cargo did the rescue missions cargo involve fuel for rescue vehicles, oil for vehicles , alcohol gand wash to prevent disease all these would explain why fire so fierce we don't know that it had that on board but it could have plus massive cardboard crates with goods in

    • @arshmanhussain7762
      @arshmanhussain7762 5 месяцев назад +2

      It’s an A350 which is a new gen of aircraft, it’s made of carbon composites that’s why it’s burned to ash instead of leaving a metal surround like an older airplane would

    • @SHZ_Tristan19

      The A350 withstood the fire for a pretty impressively long amount of time to let the passengers escape

    • @siddiqueyd1
      @siddiqueyd1 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@SHZ_Tristan19 JAL evacuation was only a miracle with 3 doors only. But the the a350 was totally consumed by the fire and vanished very fast and very rapid because of the so-called composite "fiberglass" comparing to 777 EK521 or the Asiana 214, which was burnt only at the fire place.

    • @MrSchwabentier
      @MrSchwabentier 5 месяцев назад

      @@siddiqueyd1 it actually vanished very slowly, which is the big strentgh of composite fuselages in fires. Yes, it burns up completely, but it keeps fire out of the cabin for much longer than traditional aluminim constructions.

    The runway was in multi mode (being used for take off and landing) at the time. It's speculation but it's highly likely the unusual situation lead to the coast guard plane using a runway for take off that had airliner arrivals on it. Most likely miscommunication between ATC and the coast guard plane. Were either told incorrectly or were told to hold short and didn't. (Edit: the coast guard plane was communicating with the tower on a different frequency and not, it is understood, the frequency for that runway/ area of the airport)

    • @tom201090
      @tom201090 5 месяцев назад

      At least 2 runway's in Haneda airport cross each other so they could have met at the exact point where the runways cross.

    • @FaceFcuk
      @FaceFcuk 5 месяцев назад +2

      The 2 planes was on different frequency to the tower even though they should have been on the same frequency if both was meant to be on that runway. I think the small plane took a wrong turn when taxi to the runway.

      T'as déjà essayé d'éteindre l'incendie d'une voiture avec un extincteur ? L'avion a encore beaucoup de kérozène + l'huile des systèmes hydrauliques + une grande partie du fuselage en fibre de carbone, etc...
      Après la collision l'avion a conservé son intégrité structurelle le temps de freiner et d'évacuer et ça c'est génial. T'as oublié de remercier Airbus !!!
