It gave me chills watching how well he portrayed Rafe. It’s not easy playing these types of characters! One of my favorite actors now!

Cyasis igmgmg I’ve been thinking the same. Jj and Kie would obviously be a great couple but i honestly believe that Rafe lowkey has a soft spot for Kie. I find it really interesting that whenever Kie was around during a fight between the pogues and the kooks, Rafe would always make sure that Kie knew she could walk away and he would repeatedly tell her that she didn’t belong with them. I don’t know if they are necessarily romantic (though it would be fascinating to see that), but there is without doubt something platonic going on and I would like to see their relationship evolve. I really hope they will dig deeper into Kie’s kook year as well in season 2 since it probably will be a lot about Kie’s friendship to Sarah and therefore Rafe and how he acted around Kie.
I don't wanna see him go either but I think going to prison would be the best thing for him rn...I mean he would get help for his addiction for example. but he's gonna get manipulated by Barry I think

If kiara help rafe in season 2 I don't think they will be just friends, because rafe he has a crush on kiara and I think they had something in the past and it would be more interesting to see them together.

it’s honestly kind of hard to hate rafe and topper, they all have a mean and a good side. all rafe wanted to do was impress his dad and make him proud, so shooting the sherif was to make his dad think he saved him. i honestly feel so bad for rafe. him being addicted to drugs, and just wanting to be and feel loved. and topper; he got cheated on for godsake. i think he did love sarah but to a certain extent. i don’t think topper is the type of person to sit there with you after you hurt him, i think he wants to insult you to get the pain and anger out, so he takes it out on the person who hurt him. and i like rafe, but topper got pressured into doing some of those things.
It's really hard when you hate Rafe in the show but you love Drew so much and there's this extreme internal battle where you don't know what to think 😭
