Hare Krishna🙏🙏 No that is not correct, there is nothing _minor_ about Sri Krsna. In the Srimad Bhagavatam(1.3.28), after giving a long list of various incarnations of the Lord, it is said: एते चांशकला: पुंस: कृष्णस्तु भगवान् स्वयम् । इन्द्रारिव्याकुलं लोकं मृडयन्ति युगे युगे ॥ २८ ॥ *All of the above-mentioned incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, but Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the original Personality of Godhead. All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the atheists. The Lord incarnates to protect the theists.* The reason why Sri Narsimha is called an incarnation of Sri Vishnu is because whenever any incarnation(avatar) or avtari Sri Krishna Himself(the source of all incarnations) appear, it happens through Sri Kshirodakshayi Vishnu(who is a purush incarnation of Sri Krishna). This is why commonly people say that Sri Ram,Sri Narsimha and others are incarnations of Sri Vishnu. But in more detail(in Srimadbhagwatam) we get to know actually it is Sri Krishna(Svayam Bhagwan) only who is the source of all incarnations(Avatari). Although in tattva(philosophical truth), all manifestations of the Lord are one and the same, difference is of mood(rasa) only.
