He really is so wonderful and it felt more like a private conversation rather than like, him just drilling her for information. I really enjoyed this interview, so smooth and amazing.
He used to have a huge issue with talking over the top of people, but it looks like he's listened to the feed back and worked on his interview skills. Although it's kind of funny to look at his face when the other person is speaking, he often looks like he wants to jump in with a question or an observation but he restrains himself.
I just finished listening this record and it is very different than the last two. The messages and the loss are so relatable. She mentions real issues that many of us face.
when she talked about feeling like on top of the world on one day, and then thinking on the next day that if she continues doing this she will die, i suddenly remembered her and yoongi’s lyrics in “SUGA's Interlude”: I’ve been trying all my life To separate the time In between the having it all and giving it up I wonder what’s in store If I don’t love it anymore Stuck between the having it all and giving it up i admire her sincerity & creativity SO much. there are not so many open-minded and ACTUALLY artistic artists like her out there. she really has to “promise us that she won’t die, 'cause we need her” (yep, i’m referencing the lyrics of “929”)
Manic is so good, I'm honestly surprised. Sure, I was expecting something really good but I didn't expect that! I'm a proud fan. Thank you so much, my queen
Halsey is a lyrical genius brilliant song writer she explained everything so well she’s so articulate and eloquent beautiful artwork for the album I love the visuals I love how passionate she is about it and enthusiastic the album was fantastic she never disappoints at all her and Selena’s album Rare are the best albums of 2020 so far that I have heard so far . Their is no quite like halsey she’s very unique. She’s so creative and clever . I love the song she did with Alainis morsette that was dope . I think that’s my favourite off the album that and I’m still learning . So Catchy and relatable. Love halsey 💗
She is absolutely one of the most eloquent speakers I've ever heard. I could listen to her talk all day. Zane is quite the compassionate interviewer, I'm so impressed.
shes on another level of intelligence and talent. shes like walking art. like *oops sorry i just dropped some art by bad*. Is there more to this interview? she has so much wisdom and life experience i wanna hear more.
Most people don't know the positive side of being manic. This album is a great example to play for the ones who just don't understand. No one ever did this before, well done, Ash. 🖤
when she spoke about that "comedown" from creating I couldn't agree more and it was like a relief to know someone feels the same sometimes. I'm currently going through that and it really does feel like I have to create but all i want to do is not look at it and to stop filling my head with inspiration and ideas. Even when I have an idea its sometimes difficult to get it out of my head and into real life. Really like the album too.
Listened to Manic the night it came out over and over again and it is great! Every interview makes me love Halsey even more and more... she is the sweetest person ever 😊
This beautiful, amazing, wonderful woman introduced me to a genre I usually hate. Country. Normally hearing a sort of country twang, that isn't actually country but sounds country to people who hate it, I would usually hate that song. But this album is just so fucking perfect. Thank you for showing yourself to us, Ashley. We love you more than you will ever know.
I completely forgot the album was titled 'Manic'. Perhaps it's because I am currently going through a bit of a manic phase, myself. I LOVE the album so much. 929 got me right in the feels, as I experienced a miscarriage around the same time as she was while on tour. I love how each song has such a different feel. Absolutely nothing strange about always wanting to change.. CLAIM ALL THE GENRES, GIIIIIRL!❤
Express your vibe but speak it fluently we all have one thing in common our mind and love for ourselves. Agree to disagree world we all have different ideas and vibes. We’re all finding god little step by step. God bless
Ashley Nicholette Frangipane Has been the greatest inspiration for my music and I literally love her....I'll make sure I work hard everyday such that I could meet her someday.Thank Yu for all those Records till date♡ @Halsey..... ❤
*oh and ps. i love eminem and all , im in my early 30s so i kind of grew up listening to him in high school we all did, but he dropped a suprise album on the same day as halsey released manic and he is blocking her from getting that #1 billboard album spot. just because he is friend with gerald, halseys ex. and halsey is close with machine gun kelly who eminem hates. its actually petty. let halsey have her #1. stop blocking people. I dare him to release on the same day as Taylor Swift or Adele lmao. I havent heard his album YET because i want to support the Manic album. So please everyone get a streaming service SUBscription (its so so cheap) because THOSE streams count as way more "streams" compared to listening for free. if you dont have a credit card Just buy those Spotify Gift Cards from your local food shop lol. When she speaks the lyrics of “Ashley” it sounds like slam poetry
LittleReading Happens Thanks. Bye. Great
Love seeing her poetry side come across more prevalent.
Like she's so Poetic and beautiful
LittleReading yes that’s what I was thinking too
Zane is a very wonderful and respectful interviewer and I'd like to thank him for that.
Yes!! I love his interviews! He's almost a therapist sometimes! So good :)

Zane is the best! Perfect interviewer for music artists
Honestly I find it fake and annoying.
Her vocabulary is soooooo good omg

Dominic's Interlude is f*ckin lit i wish it was a full song
HONESTLY
Right? I hate that it’s one of my favourite’s on the album since she doesn’t even sing it and it’s her album lol
She's so good at verbally communicating; very eloquent

I love watching Halsey's interviews.. she's so well spoken and poetic; esp at 25yrs old!😱😱😱❤
I was never into her before, but I just listened to Manic and... I think I'm a Halsey fan now.
Jamie Ryan Storey and now all u have left is Badlands and HFK and then ur basically never unstanning 🙃
I am loving when manic, this is the beauty of Ashley's mentality
shes on another level of intelligence and talent. shes like walking art. like *oops sorry i just dropped some art by bad*. Is there more to this interview? she has so much wisdom and life experience i wanna hear more.
She should take a break after this tour. Like a whole ass 2 year break. Please take care of you love
Petition for Dominic's interlude to be a full song?
She’s art
Literally. Just look what she's wearing! I love all the colours!
Well that pretty much sums it up!!
The best album of 2020 so far
I disagree by poppy exists
I love RARE by Selena Gomez
Most people don't know the positive side of being manic. This album is a great example to play for the ones who just don't understand. No one ever did this before, well done, Ash. 🖤
I like how she gets real about manic depression. Appreciate it.
Sometimes i'm on top of the world / Other days I'm like If i keep doing this im going to die. Ups & downs :/
manic is such a beautiful album. I love these interviews so much. we truly don’t deserve halsey.
I love her so much 🥺 & coming from someone who suffers from bpd/mania, her description of it was so spot on.
this album is a masterpiece. (:
I love her makeup and hairstyle!!! She gets me crazy😭😭😭
this is her best album so far. by a long shot (and i love badlands & hfk was mostly good!). but Manic is just a whole other level. so amazing.
She's really good at talking about herself and life.
I'm still recovering from "929" & "Ashley" lol. Why am I such a crybaby?
kadee glencane
“More” is on repeat, it’s heartbreaking. 😭
@@connectthedots4169 Ugh same!! I read somewhere that Halsey is unlikely to play that song at the concerts:(
@@dw-ei7ql I read somewhere she wouldn't "unless she had someone to play it to" which just breaks me.
same.
She's the honesty artists I have ever seen, love you halsey
I could listen to her for hours
I love her so much. I love her honesty, her vulnerability, the way she speaks. So excited to see her live soon ❤❤❤
Halsey is such a queen
More is my favorite. Its heartbreaking and so beautiful...
there's something about Halsey's voice that instantly made a song sounds very good. that's why I'm a fan
no matter what you do,i'll follow all the way.never before have i seen such a genuine, true and pure artist before.i'm ''manic'' all they way!
