The half pocket lining on mine; purchased in 1970, was properly finished white cotton integrated into the ‘lazy S’. There is also a small label in the back pocket too, this states, The HD Lee Company, sanforized, union made.

I love Lee Jeans because they are good for small butts not built for fat butts.
I think the opposite. Levi selvedge always fits better. Lee sags a little. BUT Lee is better quality and cheaper the Levi selvedge.
