Great stuff, Kara. The tips remind me of an experience. I worked briefly with a relatively new consultant at a major consulting company. He received feedback about improving his clothing and general fashion sense. He dressed poorly enough that it distracted from his knowledge. The next time I saw him, he did look a bit better.
That's a great story Alex and really shows how outfit can impact people's overall perception of us. It's good he looked a little better the next time :)

Manipulation and using others is not real "executive presence". Its just dark side.
So you must work where I do! You just described our top two “executives” perfectly.
