That would have been smart. Maybe less of a scrap theme but maybe have like an old Jedi saber droid be part of the exspiriance with a special wide verity set of savi compatible parts
I just went last week to Savi's workshop to build my lightsaber, totally worth it. I now have a really nice lightsaber along with memories of an awesome experience. They have the black bag for it again, it is padded with foam rubber to protect the saber and a strap that made it easy and comfortable to carry around the park fir the rest of the day.
Me: "Eh, it's ok, doesn't look TOO special but I do like the PT era look of it" Also me when James activates the saber and it revs like a damn supercar: "Ok that's kinda sick tho"
I visited the Starcruiser on May 4th, 2023 and decided against getting the lightsaber... The next week they announced the closing of the Halcyon experience, so of course I had to have one and managed to obtain one from a smuggler that was going there on a trip. I'm over protective of it at this point! Thanks for the insightful review!
When it comes to the customisation with the letters, I can totally see them falling of or being knocked off and lost, even at home, so unless it's in my display cabinet I wouldn't put it on the lightsaber. The fact that they don't give you few sets is a bit ridiculous. Not to mention that it's barely customisation. I agree etching the letters in would have been a better way of doing it.

So not only do I have to pay 5000 dollars to get into the hotel, I have to pay an extra 170 for the lightsaber with cheaply made plastic buttons that somehow up the price tag 20 dollars? That's a no from me.

Just gonna say, that's the most generic looking lightsaber Ive ever seen. Seriously for the amount of scratch you're paying just to get on the damn Starcruiser you should be able to get something cooler looking that that. Looks like someone took a flashlight, slapped some buttons on it and called it a day.

For around 3K a ticket for the star cruiser and the fact they're owned by billion dollar titan Disney, they could have really got in a think tank and came up with something more appealing and very unique.

whats really frustrating is i have mobility issues so travel is hard for me and not only getting to disneyland but around it if i ever got there would be so hard. but i really want one of savvi's workshop lightsabers but as i cant go ill never get one as i refuse to pay scalper prices online.
My legacy Luke Skywalker saber is having issues now. Makes the sounds but doesn’t light up. I think I might go with a saberforge or other brand next time.

I like the design of it, but those Legacy Sabers are just to bulky in my opinion, it be like holding a baseball bat from the batting part of it and not the grip part of it.

Legacy sabers from Galaxy's edge are probably going to be brighter, but independent, non-licensed sabers are going to give you the best quality. If you want screen accuracy and the license matters to you, go with the Legacy sabers.

I gotta say, for the price it looks extremely underwhelming. Like, WOW that looks barebones. If I'm gonna have to pay more than the average legacy saber for that, ON TOP of the ridiculous price tag that comes with Galactic Star Cruiser??? Yikes.
The on screen sabers that grievous has in Episode III are actually just a bunch of Anakin and Obi Wan hilts along with other Jedi hilts from the movies. They didn’t actually have dedicated lightsabers to model for grevious in the movie considering they only appear on screen for less than a minute
Considering what you have to spend to be able to get that lightsaber, it looks cheap. The fake red button, on/off switch and letters all could have been better. This looks like junk.

That's kinda how most Star Wars props are made my dude. Anakin's/Luke's first saber was made from a camera flash and had some greeble thrown on.

Did you try checking the insides of the blade? Mine did that too and the blade was the problem.

That’s how bulky they actually are in Star Wars, but they are much heavier than toy lightsabers, even though that’s accurate as well.
