    hello sir,
    i have a query. in the last example you have shown in this video,you told MMB of gauge is MMC-geo.tol.That is 40-0=40.i have a doubt being EFOS,MMB of the gauge shall be MMC+geo.tol rite?that is 40+0=40.could u pls correct if i am wrong?

    I like your videos, But I have one query, maximum material boundary for 39-40 is 40+0 right, U said 40-0 in video. Please clarify..!

    Hi Sir.
    How to calculate the position for the Threaded Holes with MMC. Because in Threaded hole they will mention hole as M6 or M8. In that how we know which is MMC Or LMC of the Threaded Holes.

      for threaded holes we don't specify MMC and LMC

    Palani sir can you explain how secondary and tertiary datum maximum material boundaries act with calculation. My friends each one have different opinion about B,C datum boundaries. confusing

    Hello,
    With V.C of dia 7.3 - 4 pin, RMB itself the component will approve. Then what is the use of datum shift.
    Generally we used to consider the counter part and provide tolerance for both parts to assemble in all condition (datum at MMC and feature at MMC) within tolerance range.
    Kindly clarify.

    Hi sir,
    suppose we are manufacturing 1or 2 components only, manufacturing gauges and checking with gauge is costly, with CMM how they will measure, if posiilble can you make some more videos
    on datum shift.

      This concept of datum datum shift is used in mass production. for 01 or 02 parts we use RFS and RMB so we don't get datum shift.
      However, in CMM with model data it can be checked

    It wasn’t helpful , if you could please help visualizing datum shift. Maybe through use of CAD otherwise it’s hard to understand this concept
