Akkie (Hanna Obbeek) is an 8th grade student that likes to play soccer. She has a few good friends, however, there is one boy she hates, Joep. Things take a turn for the tragic when Akkie discovers she has leukemia. She tries not to give up and keep fighting, despite with all the things that cancer is slowly taking away from her.
