Valance is simply an awesome character that made the jump back into canon after the mouse's purge....and deservedly so IMHO...
SCAR Squadron is The Bad Batch, right? I mean, they seem to have different names, but they all fit the type and Kreel says he's the outsider and they've all been together a long time.
They have a lot of similarities, including the fact that they are both called Something Force 99. But somehow, I think these guys are their replacements.
