Private hospitals mostly have aptitude test,if adaptation they will arrange it

എന്റെ ഒരു friend ന്റെ ഭാര്യ hsc ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലേക്ക് selected ആയി. Aws ok ആയി. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 9നു അയർലണ്ടിലേക്ക് പോകും. August 30 നു adaptation ആണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം അറിയുന്നു അവൾ pregnent ആണെന്ന്. ഇനി എന്താ ചെയ്യുക? ഏജൻസി യെ അറിയിച്ചാൽ അവർ reject ചെയ്യുമോ? Probation period ൽ maternity ലീവ് കിട്ടുമോ? ഈ സമയത്തു adaptation course ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് ആകുമോ? ഒന്ന് reply ചെയ്യാമോ
Hi dear , first of all congrats to your friend on her pregnancy .
BeforeCOVID it was not an issue . But now there are so many updates in HSE policies .
I’ve discussed this matter with one of the NMBI director board members. As he advised it’s better to inform her employer that she is pregnant. As per current HSE COVID guidelines pregnant women from Asian ethnicity is considered as high risk category and cocooning is suggested during this pandemic .
If she inform this to employer they can do a risk assessment for her and sometimes if possible they can allocate her to a non covid area for adaptation. But all these depends on her employer.
As per your message I guess she will be almost 4 months pregnant in August, so as an employee it’s our responsibility to inform employer about pregnancy.
Tell her not to be over stressed about it , and to look after herself and baby is very important at this time .
I can’t say what exactly employer decide because it completely depends on them . She can either inform agency may be they can tell u some other options , or can directly email to employer.
Please let me know if u need more clarification or any doubts .

Not really, but if you are really interested to study something in this free time just login in to Hseland website and can do courses like medication management .

Depends on hospitals,mostly at CATHLAB or CCU .sometimes you can have adaptation at wards and after you get PIN number they will ask you to work at CATHLAB.
