One part of the animation is him sitting upright, similar to when he speaks to Maria when she's imprisoned. And the other animation is him lowering his head, like how he looked after viewing the video tape

Okay, so! There's actually an explanation for why Haddie's tome lore and character lore contradict each other. All of DBD works in a sort of multi-verse. Not all the survivors come from the same earth. (this is how they explain having licensed characters). There's a weird moment in the time lore where the observer sees into one of these universes and finds a parallel to the entity's realm, but happy. So, if that exists, there's probably an infinite number of universes in the dbd cannons. Tome Haddie and Game Haddie are from different timelines.
You are 100% correct that Kate did escape the first time (I actually didn't know that when I made the video). Felix and Elodie also escaped because their parents saved them. And Mikaela kinda escaped? She saw the Entity physically manifested in her home but didn't actually get taken until days later. Not sure if there were others, still digging into all the lore. But thank you for pointing that out!
I didn't include those only because they (to my knowledge) don't have DBD lore or trivia. But perhaps one day I'll do a follow up and dive more into their wider lore.
You actually did get one of the character's lore bits wrong: Leon, if you look at his base outfit's head, mentions that he was taken after the events of RE2, as Raccoon City had been destroyed by the missile. He followed in Chris' footsteps, flying across the world and finding the abandoned headquarters of Umbrella Europe, where he was taken from inside. These events never happen in the original RE timeline either.
I don’t think you can say Feng Min likes being in the realm… yes, the ending of her lore states she does not despair and that she’s ready for a challenge, but that’s more so in line with her determined character than actually enjoying the trials. Upon entering the realm these survivors have no idea what they’re in for, and I’m sure after being hooked or sacrificed she wouldn’t be pumped for round two.
That's a fair statement. Perhaps she endures it better or more optimistically than most others. Maybe "likes" was too strong of a statement. That said, the way I read her lore, she seems to view herself as better off in the Realm than in her world, but it's been a while since I've read it to be fair.

It's very interestng to me that Leon was taken during the events of RE2 but Ada was taken during RE4. I wonder how that played out considering Leon wasn't there to save Ashley and so the whole story would've been vastly different
As a massive Silent Hill lore fan, old like to expand a bit. Cheryl you got mostly right, but she was not the ‘god’, but an incredibly powerful individual who was supposed to birth the god. Alessa was the daughter of Dhalia Galespie, one of the leaders of the cult named The Order. She knew her daughter had the power she sought, but their sadistic ritual required Alessa to cooperate, but she was resisting the idea. So Alessa was allowed to be tormented by everyone. It was Alessa’s own power to split her soul, hoping the other half would have a better life. Lisa was Alessa’s nurse and got unfortunately swept up by the demons and became one herself. Cybil got caught up with Harry Mason and died canonicaly while being possessed by the town. The map midwitch is Alessa’s school where she endured torment from the kids and the staff. Some of the tortured figures in cages were her previous tormentors now living out their own punishment. It makes sense Cheryl has the connection to the entity, she has all of Alessa’s powers, and she too had a connection to the force simply known as Silent Hill.
This is great, thank you for going into all that detail and filling in some of the gaps for me, and even correcting where I was slightly off. I was more into Resident Evil growing up than Silent Hill, but looking into Cheryl's lore for this video made me much more interested in the lore behind Silent Hill games for sure.
Yup! It's been a while since I researched it, but I think it was still back when they were using devs to voice the characters so some of them share voice actors because of it.

It's not uncommon for players in English Rugby to have high tensions. For us, it's like Hockey - there's usually a fight of some sort be it between players or referees and players.

That's a fair point. I understood that fact though to be far more encompassing, however, as Meg, Claudette, and Jake all had their entire models changed (down to their ethnicity), not just just hair or cosmetics. That's the sense in which Dwight was the only one who didn't change. It wasn't intended to say there were no changes made to Dwight at all. Sorry if that was unclear.

Indeed. DBD is multiversal, as confirmed with Haddie's lore, so there are definitely different versions of these Survivors from other realms running around.
You're correct that the Stranger Things chapter came before the Silent Hill chapter, but according to the Wiki the Byers skin released June 3, 2021, while the Cybil and Lisa skins both released in 2020. The James Sunderland skin did come after Jonathan's, however. Granted I have seen the wiki be wrong before.
Ace fact: he has both kidneys. He did not sell it. He has all of his kidneys intact and the only reason he has a scar next to one of his kidneys is because he got a boo boo.

And while I don’t understand the hate towards the later movies (the twist at the end made it all worth it) it’s after Saw 3 that they say it should have ended. Eric was in Saw 2. For some reason BH felt very shy about adding survivors in their licences back then. Leatherface, Pinhead and Ghostface had no survivors for their chapters.
Personally, for me that title would have to go to a Resident Evil game, but I absolutely do love DBD. Easily my favorite multiplayer horror game of all time.

It's not uncommon for players to lash out at referees over decisions. It doesn't always have to be "because they're homophobic". It is a competitive sport at the end of the day so tensions rise. And people lash out at eachother. It's perfectly plausible that David got annoyed at the referee and just attacked him.

The fact about Dwight actually isn't actually true. Beta Dwight had brown hair, no glasses, and a leather jacket. Honestly way too cool for the Dwight we have now.
That's a fair point. I understood that fact though to be far more encompassing, however, as Meg, Claudette, and Jake all had their entire models changed (down to their ethnicity), not just just hair or cosmetics. That's the sense in which Dwight was the only one who didn't change. It wasn't intended to say there were no changes made to Dwight at all. Sorry if that was unclear.

You're correct that the Stranger Things chapter came before the Silent Hill chapter, but according to the Wiki the Byers skin released June 3, 2021, while the Cybil and Lisa skins both released in 2020. The James Sunderland skin did come after Jonathan's, however. Granted I have seen the wiki be wrong before.

For some reason BH felt very shy about adding survivors in their licences back then. Leatherface, Pinhead and Ghostface had no survivors for their chapters.

Laurie is 17, except in her lore she was taken the same night as the first film. So there's absolutely no way she's 18, even if the devs try to say she is
